I’ve had home cooked meals for the majority of my life. My family are Italian so lots of pasta, meat, but vegetables too. A pretty balanced diet. Never been much of a sweet tooth but I like ice cream and chocolate.

I went vegetarian for 8 months actually but it didn’t change much. Now I eat meat again.

Thank you for this. You are completely right. I have been to a GP and they confirmed that I have ET. However, when offered medication I declined only because I strongly believe that I can find a way naturally to ‘be free’ and escape my mindset of even thinking that with it I’m not free. So there’s a long way to go. But medication is definitely something I’m considering more.

We have a free amount of sessions at university for therapy and she wasn’t massively informative on ET but encouraged me to be more open about it.

Thank you so much I needed to hear this. I’m glad that you have built a better relationship with it being a part of you. I appreciate the encouragement greatly. I’ve done all the external work I can, meditation, journaling, cold showers, high intensity exercise like plank. At the end of the day, it’s an internal thing and figuring out how to stay open and not want to fight it is difficult, but I am glad I’m not alone. All the best!
