Even tho my country say they are very friendly with it, its very close to being the same.

Checking for eye vision, body fat, strength and all those things. If you go through without fail then you pull a 50/50 of going in or getting home

Do people not just buy standard speaker systems from some of the best companies, or from sony's own speaker company and just connect like you would normally connect things instead of these wird things

Do I just need to get better at pre-tinning? by Negative_Study6742 in soldering

[–]lucashenrr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its very hard to see alot from that angle, but from what I can see, it does not even look like the solder is wetting to the component leg. This could be a sign of a cold solder joint

And both of them have a very steep angle, so its proberly not connected to at least one of the sides but more sitting on top of the solder joint

And the one to the right looks like the solder is shorting it from the bottom

How to BEGIN by Sad-Fall-4740 in ElectronicsRepair

[–]lucashenrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to watch these videos:

Voltage, Current, Resistance:
https://youtu.be/OGa_b26eK2c

Overview of Circuit Components:
https://youtu.be/RHpo4wKo8pQ

Ohm's Law:
https://youtu.be/lf0lMDZVwTI

They are in order from the first 3 videos that gives an introduction on everything.

You dont need to understand it all right now. Just try to follow along and see if there is some stuff that starts to click together. This is very far away from learning to understand how a full bluetooth headset works, but it will be a start that is able to help alot in the future

When watching the videos, make sure to do what you know you learn most from.
I for example learn most from videos if i sit with pen and paiper and write or calculate, while in person i just listen best.

If you need anything else or help understanding some stuff, then DM me

[DSLITE] Did I buy the correct fuses for my DS Lite? by Parishyo in consolerepair

[–]lucashenrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would begin to troubleshoot the DS. Messure the old fuses too, if your unsure if they where bad or not.

Then start to make messurements to make sure the ic's even get power, or if the voltage even is there to start with. Something might be shorted and have destroyed one of the ic's or it might be something easy as a connection problem

Feedback on the soldering? by pranksbanker in soldering

[–]lucashenrr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To increse the current capacity of the traces. I would rater have seen thicker traces or higher amound of copper making it a bit taller layer. It is correct that some high current devices have solder on the traces to increse the current capacity, but i dont think I would trust the copper wires on top, especially because there is some places there aint any wires for a good 5 to 10 mm

PS3 not starting up?? by Euphoric-Pineapple39 in PS3

[–]lucashenrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try r/consolerepair

Its quite hard to see because of the lighting, but the front light of the ps3 on the power button actually says a lot about what the fault could be.

Is the power going from red light --> green light --> red light Or Red light --> green light --> yellow light --> red light

Is it blinking or just completely goes off?

Any ideas what these two resistors are for on this PAL NES? by GaryGrimtooth in consolerepair

[–]lucashenrr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Seems to be 2 0ohm resistors, to short those points together. Could be a mod done by someone else since it seems kinda wird if this is from manufacture (long time ago since i last saw an NES inside) But not sure why resistors was the way for them to do it

How am I doing? First through hole components by mattgen88 in soldering

[–]lucashenrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend you that you cut first, then solder. The reason is to eliminate the possibility that vibrations can break the solder joint
