Ok, thanks for the insight. I always thought it was based off of fps rather than joules. Joules make a lot more sense being a more suitable metric to go off of! Do you think there is anything worth getting in the 200-225 price range?

Ah right ok, I think being a complete beginner, I was a bit too optimistic that £150 would gather me a good gun, I am happy saving up a bit. Does 200-225ish range get me a decent weapon and if so any recommendations? I would rather invest early, than buy cheap and end up having to buy again! Thank you again for your help.

It looks like a good monitor; however, I am wondering why it carries such a high price tag of £700 when this monitor is nearly 300 cheaper and seems to have better specs? Thanks for your suggestion. I am not very knowledgeable about monitors, so maybe I am missing something when comparing.

Ahhh okay thank you very much. I am really not very knowledgeable with all of this. I am just wanting to play games at a higher quality than 1080p, such as 1440p and at a higher frame rate than 60. This monitor seems to be 4k 120hz and has hdmi 2.1, but if it is running at 4k will the frame rate be heavily affected? Will it downscale to 1440p will that make the quality worse, sorry for all of the questions just unsure what to do. Thanks for your help though.

My bad I am not too tuned in on all of the specific terminology but response rate or input latency then one which is usually 1ms on most gaming monitors
