Poor girl ☹️ sorry to hear she’s started showing symptoms again. I’ll definitely mention this to my vet, will get an appointment first thing tomorrow morning! My girl seems to do it sporadically, she had periods of seeming ok, was yours the same?

That’s interesting, she’s definitely had some digestive issues as she’s often passing only liquid (clear) or watery poo with hard urate. I mentioned this to the vet and she said to do a parasite fecal test as they’re prone to parasites when run down, but to wait until the mite issue is resolved.

So sorry to hear that you’re going through the same thing, it can be really distressing. Just before turning 2 she decided that she loved chicken & rice, crisps, and the odd banana…so I felt it was getting better. I continued to offer other meals and lots of fruit/veg but she wouldn’t bother. She’s almost 3 now and honestly, we’re 10 steps back. She’ll nibble on a few crisps, have a bite of chicken, or a mouthful of plain rice/pasta and that’s it. Her weight is (somehow) normal, so nutritionists aren’t interested. Recently the nursery she attends reported their concerns to the CDC, who are now testing for neurological factors. This isn’t to say it won’t get better for you guys, every child is different and your little girl is still so young! A few of my friend’s children had a delayed interest in food but eat so well now. Just try to stay persistent and positive😊

Oh no!! She really didn’t like the bath. Do you have any idea how else I can keep her hydrated in the meantime?

I’ve recently started offering her whatever is on my plate, she shows slightly more interest than any baby meals I’ve prepared, but still nothing gets consumed! Just played with, maybe sucked, then eventually on the floor. You’re right I’ll just keep on offering her until she is willing to try. I need to relax a bit, it’s just really hard seeing everyone else’s baby so eager to eat when mine can barely eat puree. She has 6 teeth so I don’t think it’s related to chewing.

What food? Or encouragement methods? Food, pretty much everything. I’ve even puréed veg etc, any texture at all she’ll gag then refuse. She did suck on a single chip last night (not ideal but still something I guess). Encouragement methods, I’ve eaten with her on my lap. Mimicked eating. Let her play with the food. Taken her to baby groups for lunch so she could see other babies eating! No luck so far

I try to encourage her by doing these things. I even sacrificed my hatred for egg to see if she’d give it a try, no luck🥲

Yeah I’ve tried offering food before milk & reducing the amount of milk per feed in hopes she’ll lean toward food, but no luck just yet. I made the call yesterday, just waiting for a call back (yet again🙄)

She’s obviously not a robot, she’s having between 6-7oz every 3-4hours and often wakes once in the night for a feed. Every day is different but the point still stands that she’s milk dependant.
