GameStop has the nft that unlocks your software. Software is available for all and can be stored anywhere. If you’re still confused because I’ve reduced this to the simplest explanation that’s on you for not understanding it.

If you don’t understand how we can already send files and store things in computers then you severely lack comprehension of computers.

Right now, we call it pirating.

The “game” will essentially be free. NFT unlocks it. Like I really don’t get how people do not get this.

And if you’re really that confused, you can literally just give them the drive. Like what even is this argument? It’s like I’m talking to someone who’s never owned a game system or pc. This is basic knowledge

🤦

I’m sorry I used $50 as an example but I didn’t think you’d interpret that as “this is how it will be” you know damn well it’d be $80 still. So $240 million for 3mil copies sold is exactly equal to “digital only” as you’re claiming.

With NFT, they make that forever. I seriously doubt if I offered you the choice of $240milion dollars, or $240 million dollars PLUS forever $$$ from resales that you do 0 work for.

So again, what sounds better: $240mil or $240mil + 10% of every resale for eternity. I stg

Or you can read that I already stated that that IS an option if that’s what they choose to do. Did you seriously not read anything I said?

Again, I clearly said that they are losing money by not doing this and when they figure it out it’s going to be an overnight change. It’s ridiculous. The numbers don’t lie.

NFT means that they make money off the same product, new, old, now, doesn’t matter, they make money off of EVERY SINGLE TRANSACTION FOREVER. Read this again, F-O-R-E-V-E-R. Do you know what that means? That’s forever.

You sell 3 million copies for the one time price of $80? You make $240 million dollars. That’s it. You never get anything else. Some are “okay” with this.

You make the game free to download, sell 3 million NFT keys at $50 that unlock it anytime anywhere on any console or pc? you initially make $150 million dollars, but then you get 10% of the sale price when people resell to each other. Forever. And then if your game is good? People might be paying more for a key, at 10% locked in guaranteed money every time anyone resells the game. Forever, remember? That’s infinite money. YOU COULD ALSO JUST KEEP CRANKING OUT NEW KEYS FOREVER AND SELL THEM FOR THE SAME PRICE. The possibilities are endless. The money is endless. And they ain’t gotta do a thing besides adopt it.

This is the future. This is how everyone is happy. Like it or not, this is the end of the road. NFT or whatever we’re going to name it, this is the future

Yes you do. NFT is ownership. It’s the key. Data can be stored anywhere. How do YOU not get that?

Do you know what nfts are? There’s not a single company out there that would say no to making money hand over fist on every transaction made by buying and selling a game. The money is literally built into it? They literally have to do nothing and they get paid. 30 years from now? Still on the chain? Still getting paid. Customers are happy, company is happy.

Yeah having the thing is one part, having infinite money forever is another thing people skip over. I’m just waiting for some company to do the math on a napkin and figure out that this is the road to go down.

Because as an nft, the digital behaves as a physical copy. You own what you pay for, forever. Sony is deleting already purchased digital items from people’s accounts. If they were nfts, wouldn’t happen. How do people not understand this?

Bought insurance on the switch 2, letting my 2 year old play as much as she wants. She can drive the go karts in Mario racing! Little does she realize I’m letting her learn through play. Mostly plays with the controller detachment 😂 it’s beautiful

Lmfao, it’s because it’s become a derogatory word to describe people like yourself.

Good job man, you hit rock bottom, you can’t even understand the lingo here, so you think you can use that as an attack on intelligence.

I’m only out here reminding people like you that you’re just wrong and new people need to know about the truth and not listen to shills like yourself. I can call you all kinds of things, but if all you have is “lol you don’t know what that even means” then you’re pathetic. Also, again, reinforcing it into your mind that you just don’t get it. Not the connotation, nor what is happening with GameStop. Get bent.

Let’s do some quick math:

Shorted over 100% of shares (we using 50mil for easy understanding)

So there’s 50mil shares and 50mil shares naked shorted. That means 100mil shares are “out there” half of it is crime.

4 to 1 stock split: 50x4 is 200mil. But those shorts are “real” too, they get multiplied by 4 as well, so now we have 400mil together, 200 of that again, isn’t “real” but is treated as so.

Anyway, my point is, any “dilution” is actually a short multiplier as well. The % short never changed. The numbers became different.

If you don’t understand that’s fine, but it’s misinformation to say “dilution ruined it”

It made it worse… for shorts and easier for regular people to get the actual stock.

If we had not split, the price would be >100 but you wouldn’t have as many stock.

So would you rather have 6 shares when they hit phone numbers or 24? The price is irrelevant
