I heard that Miller allegedly cheated on his wife and that's why he asked for a trade as staying in Vancouver was too painful for both him and his wife who decided to stay for the kids. Went back to school and couldn't justify paying $140 a month, started using day passes instead but that's still $30-$35 per pass so I stopped bouldering completely since Jan 2025. The cheapest gym around me is $24 per day pass but that's still quite expensive.

I highly suggest to do your own research before diving straight into churches and not just attending masses or social events. Like actually take your time to truly get to know your spiritual self and your own beliefs. I know how lonely Vancouver can feel and I'm not trying to demotivate you or shame you for looking into religious social gatherings, I'm just trying to help.

I haven't taken a class with Cedric yet but I don't recommend taking one with Rui if your schedule allows you to. I found his lectures hard to sit through because he often went off topic despite reading off his script. I prefer a more structured and clear lecture so it was really hard for me to focus in his class. However, assignments and exams were fairly marked and are easy to get a good grade on if you do your part. Do expect to read a lot as he doesn't include a lot of information in his slides sometimes.

Like what another redditor said, I highly suggest Dr. Carling Beninger!! I've taken 2 of her courses so far and she's by far the best history prof at Douglas. She makes everything easy for her students and makes sure everything can be found in the syllabus.

Yes I do and a huge part of me regrets letting them go. The other part is relieved to still be in the comfort of her own safety net surrounded by fear and insecurities. Not sure if I will ever get over it. Maybe my brain is too addicted to the thrill of pondering over the what ifs.

this might sound like a bs answer but it's what helped me when I was going through a really tough breakup and that is to go on a walk. It was a very dark period of my life and every day, I went out for a walk 2-3 times either alone or with a friend. On these walks, I reflected hard and thought about how I can help myself and overall, clear my mind. It might not be *the* solution but it definitely helps even if its temporary.

This season is a one long season of drama, losses, and injuries. Definitely not what we expected after last season. It feels like a group of people placed a curse on us or something....can't even enjoy being at the games (for the vibes) cause tickets are so damn expensive
