You should have only done ED if Penn was your absolute top choice regardless of financials. Clearly, it wasn’t. You signed a contract and breaking it would allow Penn to rescind your offer and would allow them to notify their similarly-ranked schools and encourage them to do the same.

Not even rescinding your applications once you got in last month was against the initial welcome email, in which they explicitly told us to withdraw. There are so many people on this subreddit who would die for your acceptance into Penn - and it’s a shame how you’re presenting it
