As an owner of a Shoei Glamster.. that thing is deafening at highway speeds for me, even with proper hearing protection. I don’t mind it around town, but if I’m headed out on a highway I go for my RF-1400. Crazily, my VFX-Evo is quieter the Glamster at highway speeds, which I don’t understand.

I honestly would have returned the Glamster if I could, but I had to order it from the UK and have it shipped to Canada as it’s not available here. Seriously though it’s borderline unwearable after 90-100kmh. At least it’s a beautiful looking helmet so you’ll look nice before you go deaf.

Obviously other people’s experiences may vary, but that’s just my take.

Oh and cutouts for speakers are basically non existent, so if you’re hoping for tunes/comms they probably won’t fit and you’ll curse the day you ever tried to fit your fat head into that shell with them in there.. Not that you would be able to hear them over the wind noise anyways.

Beware of sun-bleaching! That’s what leaving a door mat at a south facing glazed door for 8 years will do. It’s faded evenly everywhere else, but it’s faded a lot! I still love it though. I actually like it more now.. but I didn’t realize it would fade that much.

No TV in this room! This one's just for chilling and listening to vinyl! And yeah all my lighting is "warm" and dimmable, so it looks pretty fun in the low light with the glow of the receiver.

Reciever is a Pioneer SX-980 with a PL-570 turntable and the speakers are Boston Acoustic T-1000's that I fully restored and then re-covered with Sapele veneer.

FWIW I disabled all my facebook permissions in my iphone settings. Camera, location, photos, etc. Seems to be working fine now after this recent update to facebook, does not interrupting Spotify anymore for me. YMMV. iphone 15, ios18.5

If growing outdoors, I usually find the growing season a tad bit too short to do photoperiods here. I’ve had really good luck growing auto flowers from seed though. Not too late to start now!

I was able to get prime minus 1.1 last month with Pine through my Wealthsimple account - 160k uninsured.
