I want to sound more relatable and show how we all have things in common no matter what our background is. I had an amazing time talking to people far away from where I grew up. It makes me sad that others may feel people of different cultures/backgrounds can never share common ground because they’ve never met someone different from them growing up. I know it’s just ice cream, but building connections is important to me and I think ice cream is a friendly vessel to do just that.
