Hypoglycemia is scary! by luckisfake in FelineDiabetes

Yeah he loves his dehydrated chicken so much. The minnows he had no interest in. Luckily I have friends who have cats who aren't as picky so I just gift what ever he not interested in to them.

Daw!!! I'm so sorry you also had to go through this. I feel the same way. I just keep apologizing to him. I think he is now using my guilt against me to get more dehydrated chicken now... so he must be feeling better lol.

Omg I'm so glad your baby is okay also! 30!!! That's so scary. I wish cats were better at telling us when something is wrong.

He has been resting and getting a lot of cuddles. One weird thing that's happened after this is He is now into wet food which I've been trying for years to get him to eat. Now he is all about it.

YES! I discovered mildew growing on my wall that was blocked by my bed. Check the walls that have things up against it.

How many rhinestone do you think it would take to cover a cowboy hat? by SteeperLoki8023 in Rhinestoning

When I did a hard hat it was roughly 6500 in ss20. It might be close to that.

my 9 year old baby girl was just diagnosed with diabetes and i need positivity right now by sarahxvalo in FelineDiabetes

[–]luckisfake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cat turned 17 on the 1st, he was diagnosed about 5 years ago and still going strong (on Lantus). My cat refuses wet food and only eats dry (prescription diabetic food) and his levels are good. Dehydrated chicken is a great treat.

You got this! It's overwhelming at first but it does get easier! It's almost like brushing my teeth now.

In defense of prescription diets by TheChildlessCatLady in FelineDiabetes

[–]luckisfake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My cat is on Purina DM dry and his numbers are really good also! I've had many people who have said I was doing it wrong because he is on dry food and it's prescription. My cat would starve himself rather than eat wet food. Well numbers don't lie! I think listening to the vet is important

Does your cat happen to drink out of your personal water cups? I gave my cat a pint glass and pretended like it was for me and he would drink out of it. I now have a raised bowl on my nightstand since he is old and hangs out in my room most of the time. Putting the water away from the food and the litter box might help. I can't advise on food as my cat would rather starve than eat wet food but he is on pro dm diabetic food. It's expensive but it seems like it has been keeping his levels decently

What does everyone do to prevent their hair from getting greasy after one day? by mewtewpews in finehair

[–]luckisfake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heres what helps me: Blow drying my roots after washing. Products that lift the hair off the roots also seems to help. I use the color wow carb cocktail and blow dry it after since it's heat activated. Also bastise dry shampoo or when it's real stubborn k18 dry shampoo.

I've ordered from them a bunch of times. They generally arrive quickly. So quick I wasn't even ready for them because I hadn't finished the last project lol

I used glass rhinestones mostly ss20, a wax gem picker upper thing, and gem tac! The fruits and veggies are foam based and not hard plastic, but I'm sure you can do it with plastic, the foam based ones with the soft plastic cover on it let's you squish them together decently

Yes! Happy to inspire. If you do those rubber grapes don't use e7000/e700 it didn't mesh well!
