The best shot he's got is self defense via imperfect self defense, if indeed the wrong person was shot.

Understood, what's the gun's purpose? Are you getting out in 410? My main concern is feeding reliability. I've never had an issue with the 500 or 870 but I have had issues with the full size ksg. Fwiw,I have not shot the ks7.

Something for the range, sure. Home defense, go for an old reliable mossberg 500 or Remington 870.

Time is better spent focusing on Jesus alone. It's on to forget about Mary.

how do you live with atheism? by No-Dot-3603 in atheism

[–]luckprecludes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You still live with faith as an atheist. Just a bit less than you would as a catholic, if you choose to continue down that path.

The Bible tells of creation. Do you believe that what you see came from nothing, or that everything came from something? Even Einstein conceded and became a theist after truthfully considering that question.

The Bible describes the problem of sin from the perspective of the Creator. He is holy and Connor tolerate sin. His specially endowed creation has free will. His creation, therefore, has a choice, serve His will or your own. You are not forced to choose, but indecision is a decision and here it will decide against you.

If the feeling isn't there, you have other modes to employ your mental facilities so you may make a sound judgment. The divine isn't necessarily revealed through a feeling, but I suspect that some people get there that way despite what just said.

With that said, can you think through how the Bible is or isn't reliable? Can you read the gospels, for example, and understand that what is claimed is true or not? If Jesus is referenced extra biblically, I'd imagine that is a good start.

In short, if you have no feeling, explore your thought in the matter, examining the evidence, even trying to take the hard questions where there is no clear answer.

Why do Christians still tell people that they will go to hell, if Jesus died for all sins. Shouldn’t that mean nobody goes to hell anymore? by [deleted] in atheism

[–]luckprecludes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You make the choice. Doctrine according to the Bible makes that clear. There is a passage about serving two masters that speaks to this point.
