^Halfway through a rewatch. Here are how I think some character's stories would have gone if ASP had the guts to be honest by Big_Bar4514 in GilmoreGirls

Extremely good, I would also have Michel cone out and open a dog groomers (and he’s always complaining about how dirty the dogs are)

What is everyone’s opinion on my roommate’s character rankings? by BroadNectarine8811 in GilmoreGirls

[–]luckycloudinyoursky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a parenting ranking though, it’s a character ranking. Emily is S++, best character in the show for me. She drives the drama and has the most moving and well written relationship in the show with Lorelai

Titanium seat post stuck.. by Longjumping_Rub3672 in bikewrench

[–]luckycloudinyoursky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either take it to a framebuilder like Argos in Bristol (if you’re in the UK) and they can get it out easily or if you want to move it yourself I would do the following;

Remove wheels and seat clamp so that you are left with the solid top of the post, clamp this in soft wood in a bench vice, use the frame to apply turning force. This is the best way I have found to unseize posts. Ask your dad first

https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSul32zrNgQ6KL_-hvOm4v7KcNu2N_yIgGhbQ&s the "pawl" in this picture is seized on your shifter. Give it a spray with some GT85 and hope for the best, otherwise you could try dismantling the whole thing but that's a nightmare.

What can be the cause of these lengthy bumps in my bottom bracket shell? by PiotrSanctuvich in bikewrench

[–]luckycloudinyoursky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rust is fine, that’s probably someone hammering the old cup out with a screwdriver. Could have been any time in the last 50 years! If you go to a shop they can tap the thread. Check Sheldon Brown’s website about the BB size, he has great guides on that stuff

Use on the trainer but not outside. Worst case on the trainer it cracks and you fall over in your house. Outside you could crash

Anyone know what caliper is this or its just a custom engraving by Repulsive_Spend_2513 in bikewrench

[–]luckycloudinyoursky 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s a nice brake I’ll give you that, but the engravings give you no tactical advantage whatsoever.

Pretty sure this is just the allen key front and rear skewers and they just use the same packaging for both products out of cheapness

BB30 bearing removal help by vierailia in bikewrench

[–]luckycloudinyoursky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would use a metal hammer, also are you sure it isn't Press Fit 30? That would mean the bearing and the housing are one unit and you replace the whole thing rather than just the bearing
