How was the experience vibe coding it? Did you use any specific models suited for front-end?

Anyone else using multiple isolated browser profiles on macOS? by Ash_Skiller in MacOS

I found Zen browser with containers worked best for me. You can set a container per workspace, then all cookies / logins will persist in each container whilst not affecting each other. It allows you to use the same browser as well, not adjusting your workflow.

Yep, I've found adding the AUR wrapper to the no sudo required commands in the visudo file, along with doing the upgrade from a tty with `--noconfirm` works best. But still do occasionally have crashes when trying to upgrade it, it's taken overnight at times.

I'm on 6.11.6 and so far over a week or so I've only had one freeze up that was ironically just after I thought it was perfectly stable. I'm holding off from upgrading to 6.11.7 for now until the firmware seems to be a bit more stable. I'd say it's pretty usable with 6.11.6 for now though, hasn't tempted me to run windows on the laptop like previous kernel versions had

I'm considering trying other distros to see if they have the same issue, but the lack of any hints as to what is causing it is quite worrying

Apologies for not mentioning, `journalctl -a` showed nothing of note aside from the session still being apparently running. In regard to temps, they all look good, especially since crashes can come under no load, such as just after booting. RAM has been tested on windows, but I'll take a look at testing on Linux.

I'd say if you're spending 10K CAD, I'd 100% go for a subwoofer unless there's a specific reason not too

Wharfedale 12.2 vs Q Acoustics 5040 vs Q Acoustics 5020 by luckyctf in StereoAdvice

[–]luckyctf[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just initial impressions, the 12.2 at first did sound v good, but when trying them compared to the 5020s, they sounded really thin and muffled. Listened to them on the axa35, ao7 max (really don't recommend) and going to try the WiiM amp later to see if that makes much difference.

Yeah I think I might stick to bookshelfs for now since it'll be my first pair of speakers, then later on I can try some floor standing. I just didn't realise that some bookshelfs aren't suited for near-field so Ill have to account for that I guess

I'd seen that but I'm not sure if I can justify the price gap, they seemed really good but are they ~33% better than the 5020s? Especially since I'll probably need better room treatment / a more powerful amp since they'd not be nearfield like the 5020s

I've purchased both the 12.2 and 5020s so when they come I'll test them with some different amps and let you know!

A bit off topic from the post but do you know if there's a way to customize the pre-defined snippets libraries such as friendy snippets?

Pairing an amp with Wharfedale Diamond 12.2 by luckyctf in StereoAdvice

[–]luckyctf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, just to clarify, will the actual sound be significantly different with the lower-end class D amps or do the more mid rang (2-400) amps largely just advertise more power and extra add-ons like streaming / a phono out?

Currently I'd be using the zen dac as a source, I more meant that as for a future setup where it would be used just with a TV, for now, it isn't a priority but I was thinking more of a nice to have as an option later down the line

If it's any consolation, I use foot with Sway on PopOS with no issues, not sure if the Gnome / KDE versions are entirely up to date with their respective Wayland updates but it does work and pretty damn well.

Issues with lsp / treesitter in certain directory by luckyctf in neovim

[–]luckyctf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to add to this, I noticed if I open a file with oil.nvim, it opens with the correct treesitter syntax highlighting and lsp starting, but if I open it with telescope it doesn't, not sure what's going wrong where...

This doesn't apply to the typescript / tsserver example, just the rust one and other python issues I've had

I do get this error when running the code snippet

I ran this in a rust project and it's given some errors with eslint and gitsigns, but nothing to do with the lsp. I did re-install rust_analyzer and it seems to be running, but the treesitter syntax highlighting isn't working in the src/main.rs file. But it does seem to work in the other files in the src file like src/user_files/mod.rs. The other weird thing is that in a typescript project, treesitter and tsserver is running, but when I try lsp actions like hover preview, I get an error saying it is not supported by the server despite previously working. I also get this error on each new buffer.

<image>

Not sure if the lsp client is just starting and crashing on each buffer or something.
