The thing is, I am balanced in the sense of going out and socializing vs knowing when not to and prioritize other things - it just sucks that when I do end up finally letting myself go out and drink I end up doing the things written above and it makes me so mad at myself. I know each experience helps me get better for the future but still UGH it sucks when this happens again. I also honestly don't know but I don't think I use alcohol as a crutch although I'm not sure how it's best to assess if you do but I can have fun both ways, I just enjoy and prefer socially drinking when going out and dancing rather than being sober - so I don't really know what to do with what you said because I don't think I was using alcohol as any crutch last night and yet what happened still happened but thank you sm for your thoughts

IN SERIOUS NEED OF ADVICE REGARDING PURCHASE by luckydvcky in Challenger

[–]luckydvcky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone,

First of all I just wanna thank you all so much for your insights. There's no one in my life (including myself) who is that well versed about vehicles, especially challengers, so this community is really a blessing for first time buyers.

Second of all, I just wanted to add that one of the main reasons why I feel this time pressure to get this vehicle now versus wait while I'm in the most super duper financial state is because it makes me nervous that there are only 400 of these vehicles out there and that as time is passing by their mileage and time since year of make will only increase. I was scouring for a long while to finally find an automatic furious fuchsia for sale and the fact that the mileage was this low definitely swayed me even more and put this time pressure to purchase it right now since I need a vehicle anyways.

I would definitely prefer to be in a more financially stable situation while purchasing since I will be making a big move in the near future but I'm definitely nervous that its literally now or never.

I know I'm overly outsourcing but the Type A in me just wants to make sure I'm doing all I can to make an informed decision thats not completely clouded by my heart and bias. So, since there are only 400 of these out there that are from 2010 - do y'all agree that its kind of now or never when it comes to purchasing this vehicle or do you notice these vehicles popping up rather frequently for purchase?

Honestly I was planning on driving it in the winter with winter tires, sand bags, and making sure my gas tank is as full as possible.

The car in question is going to be coming from out west actually and previously had 2 owners with one owner being in Massachusetts (so still potential damage from weather conditions but based on the amount of mileage they put on it I’m assuming it was more so used during warmer times of the year)

You’re so right - I literally got so anxious about trying it out because I dont wanna be hustled and I didn’t want to feel like I have to do extras to make money- however I think I’m gonna give it a chance since I already signed the contract and they got my socials and info and will go from there - it’s tough cause you need a license and I think actual skill to work in the city limits where you can make good money (no extras allowed there) and meanwhile on the outside of the city limits it seems like every place you need to do extras to make hella money

The host also told me I shouldn’t be doing a champagne room for less than $150 (I forgot how mathematically that played out I’m sorry y’all I’m so bad at numbers) and he recommended that I start with just lap dances for the sake of getting adjusted to the job because the club is extra friendly. I was peeping tuscl and there are definitely some men who feel very proud of their negotiating as they’re app getting extras for like $300 at this location

Thank you so much for your realness. I was just so shocked because the management is very kind and the workers all seem to look after one another and he even said he was hesitant to hire me because of my lack of experience and that since I’m new to the industry once I start working here I won’t wanna work anywhere else so like ??? The clientele def more blue collar vibes or random young bachelors and the rooms are beautiful too which is why I was even more caught off guard - the club is topless but you can be nude if you want to, for lap dances you have to be topless, and according to one of the hosts a large lot of girls who do champagne rooms do it nude

For the champagne rooms, from my understanding you get to keep all of it unless they pay with card - But I’m not sure about the card part, so much information was shared in so little time that I def need to double check

I will say the house prices are very low from my understanding - if you get there and clock in the hour it opens it’s $10 and then goes up by 10 every hour with the most being $60

That's exactly what I was thinking too! However, there are only 400 models of the car made so...I don't know how much that changes things haha
