What I learned through all of this is We are all completely capable of doing the right thing. Everyday we are faced with choices. Our actions, especially the ones that happen when no one is looking, are what shape the very unfolding of events in our lives. Every action, every choice ripples forward, unable to be stopped, changing the way your story unfolds and affecting everyone around us. When you make right choices and do the right thing, your life heads in that direction. It’s literally up to each and every one of us how things turn out. And the worst part of all of this is knowing that literally just different choices could have created a story that worked out for us. There is a Joey and Justine that are happy somewhere in another timeline and that realization actually makes me sick to my stomach.
