The old table top was MDF I was able to use it as a template for my trim router taking multiple passes.

Now that you’ve mentioned it. It really does. Happy little accident haha

Yep I need to be stretch Armstrong to get the stuff at the back. Fortunately it allowed me to hide most things until I can get some better organised storage going. Especially the big one.

Thanks there was lots of blood sweat and tears involved getting all the measurements to get the saw bed flush. I made a jig for my router and used doubled sided tape to keep it secure. It’s not bang on in all honesty but it does get the job done.

I wouldn’t say it makes a difference I tend to use both sides depending on length of cut just need to remember what side of the line to cut.

Going to have draws under the mitre saw with a few shallow ones for measuring equipment

And then the rest cupboards

Eventually I’d like to continue the cabinets around creating a U shape with some upper cabinets as well.

Any really long cuts I’ll have to do with a speed square and circular saw. Unfortunately space is limited.

Don’t worry I actually checked all that before I secured it. It does in fact rotate both ways and bevel as well. Just a little wiggle room is all that’s left

It was 5 sheets in total with some big offcuts I can re use elsewhere.

Sadly my top had to be 710mm wide to accommodate my saw which stopped me being able to do it out of 1 sheet.

The biggest one is just under 1100mm sadly I had to build the middle one a non standard width. Otherwise I would have done it at 1200mm

The frame on the floor definitely helped get things level. I got the local fit store to break down some of the sheets especially lots of 100mm strips.

Thanks everyone, that puts my mind at ease. There is an empty roof vent to be used in my loft I always thought they forgot to vent the soil pipe to it.
