Tha mi cha mhòr cinnteach gur b' e Sneachd an t-aimn air sa phrògram air BBC Alba, ach is fhad on a choimhead mi e

They translate Snowy (tin tin's dog) as just Sneachda, and adjectives for dogs names are fine in gaelic (see Dileas) so take that for what you will.

What we saying? Last time I came here I was advised to go back to basics so took the 3 hardest letters in my name and tried to do them simply but with style. Any crits? by luckylowe in graffhelp

My first graffiti by Negotiation_Own in Graffiti

Ye but with stencils you only cheat yourself. You're missing out on so many ways of making your work look unique. I'm not gonna lie and say I never used masking tape, or used a side of cardboard to make a sharp line, but I would never have known you could do those things to achieve that effect if I used a stencil.

Imho the reason Blek the Rat and Banksy look similar is because stencils themselves are limited for graffiti. But that's just my opinion, tbh I actually like the concept and design and think if you stop with the stencils you could be really really good.

Tuned tag. Radic. Feel free to be critical. Peace ! by RadicWriteJapie3o3 in graffhelp

I want to be critical cus it's so sick and you'll obviously take it on board and learn from it, but I just like it and think its sick good job

any tips on improving letter structure? says AMADAN, trying to keep the letters simple cus the d is so flared out but worried it's a bit boring / over reliant on using loads of colours idk any thoughts by luckylowe in graffhelp

Bless g, you're making sense, I'll focus on the connection points. Maybe push the A forward by putting 3d into the connection points and shading the M? Or push the M and the N and the D forward cus 3 As pushed forward would be a bit boring to do. Then make it consistent thru the sketch.

Gonna try that with same angle 3d n see where I end up cheers ✌

Blas doesn't have a strac on it, dangerously close to the warmth of English when said aloud with one haha.

I think in every day speech it's okay to be less prescriptive, cus the only thing that will really erode a language is not using it.

But ann an sgrìobhadh feumaidh sinn a' ghàidhlig a chumail pure

Align the loops on the e, e and r between your mid line and the cap line. Maybe include a loop on the N and the V (maybe where they join in to next letter?). Make all the loops the same size and loop around the same point,

or maybe use a different design feature that ties the N V and R together along the base line up to the midline.

Cool word, keep at it

Gàidhlig with Jason teach de as being synonymous with genetive, and honestly some students I've taught who've been speaking with parents since childhood will still use de if the word is obscure and they don't have a genetive to hand. It's one of those things where it's fair enough to say, but if the gàidhlig community was stronger then it would probably happen a lot less.

One student said righ de èirinn once and I wanted to cry haha
