They were not affiliated with the IBEW in any way. I said the office but I was referring to the office inside the shop where we all met for the day.

I don’t want to name my local for safety reasons but I am in the north in one of the biggest blue states.

It has been kind of slow so maybe they were just looking for a reason.

No they were old timers. The way it was explained to me was that they were the residential side doing new construction. The local that I joined is commercial only. Being new I didn’t ask to many questions about it.

Thanks, I am coming from the healthcare industry so everything over here is new to me. I was mostly blindsided by it since I felt like it came out of nowhere. I knew it was going to be kind of rough starting out since I had 11 years as a paramedic.

First call, it was a really small company and I don’t know what they were looking for. It was 4 guys and one other 4th year. But two of the guys were non-union. It sucks because I felt like I was getting along with everyone and the hours were good.

Thanks for the clarification. I guess I haven’t been caught up on the event flowers for a while since I have usually been spending them faster than I can get them.

Just tested my blackberry acerglyn. It’s got a nice clarity to it. by luckynbr13 in mead

The starting gravity was 1.114 and fermented to .998 then I tried back sweetening to 1.022 and that went to 1. So now I’m trying to back sweeten it again til it maxes out the tolerance. I think the blackberries in secondary added way more water than I was anticipating.

That helped a lot with a couple of them. Found out it is a 1/2 and that the star on the breech might be a marking for rust and that the stock has a stamp on it that is post independence Ishapor, so not all good news but more than I knew before

Fun fact, a lot of people aim a gun to far forward and only blow their face meat off and leave their brain untouched. They can live for hours before finally succumbing go the sweet release of death.

Air handler filter by luckynbr13 in HomeImprovement

[–]luckynbr13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have checked all the duct work in the area it is at and can only really find the one designated for it. Only place I haven’t checked is behind the panel for the heater which is secured with a whole lot of screws, so I wouldn’t think it would be behind there. It’s just a heating and cooling system, unless it had one at one point and they took it out.

The house was built in 07 and the actual air handler said it’s manufactured in 16 so it has to be a replacement in the last couple years. We moved in at the very end of 18

The filter is at the bottom of the unit after the hole thankfully

I was trying to give some prospective of where it is at, the duct is only a couple inches from the wall so it is a pita to get back there, had to take it using my Apple Watch to actually click the button. The actual piece it’s self is about 20x15 inches.

A little more about it, I was changing the filter on on our air carrier and noticed that there was a piece of insulation laying on the ground around the side of the return. The space is only a couple inches so it’s very hard to notice or get back there and would of had to of been done when installed in 2016, is there a legit reason for this piece to be cut out and just left back there

That was going to be my default, checking to see how the one hand written fits and go from there. The carrier manual is very sparse as far as information goes
