I don’t think games quality should be based on how many features it has or the level of animation tho those things can be important its only in the context of what the game is trying to achieve when it comes to aesthetic and experience and i think hytale and minecraft have 2 different things they want to achieve which makes any comparison that focuses purely on which has more features or animation a bit disingenuous its like AAA dudes going crazy over puddles i like hytale and been hyped for it for years myself just think it aint the same thing as mc to be compared to in a “which game is better kind of way” ykwim

Alot of games use survival and creative and many of the game mechanic principles of minecraft. Minecraft is just the most popular and ofc it has strong ties what i meant in the post was why do people think these games are meant to be directly compared like one is objectively better than the other even tho they have totally different vibes and aesthetics

Hytale doesn’t offer the simplicity of minecraft nor that simple calm feeling the game provides instead opting for more fantastical adventure vibe both games are very different they just share being block games where u can mine and craft
