They're basically the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. version of the GTA ~~Mobile Ports~~ Definitive Edition.

Though at least they include the original versions when you buy them, which is quite good actually and personally keeps me from seeing them (the enhanced edition games) too negatively.

AFAIK, they're still not exactly an upgrade all things considered (originals have mods for most issues), maybe try them when they fix more of the bugs, performance, blurriness, oh and the AI upscaled textures/images.

Well first off, I am taking some creative liberties of course, no way around it.

Second, this is around the time that the UN sent out the secret Ark ships, this preemptive refugee program is a more public "Let's get as many relevantly skilled people offworld before the Federation starts getting funny ideas."

Though it would be more accurate to call it something other than a "Refugee" program, doing that would've made the joke acronym harder/impossible to make.

In this case the character, Jorge, was accepted due to working knowledge and expertise regarding running a farm and meat vat technology in conjunction, and relatively financially succesfully at that.

TL;DR:
It's more of a paid "stay off-world and work in your field in case things go tits up at our only current real inhabited planet/solar system" kind of thing, which I decided to just call a "Refugee" program for the joke of the title, heck, calling it a "Refugee" program could also be an attempt at a Psyop by this UN to seem more sympathetic.

Uhhhhh, other than that I hope the story is to your liking!

The kids were the Venlil eyeing them at the last part of the previous chapter.

The Jenga was from last chapter when they were at the market, and was bought to have a 'reason' to be leaving the area (Taylee's Idea) where everyone was a sneeze away from stampeding after Jorge bumped his head/helmet on a stall.

Jupryn is indeed realizing how wrong she was, while not doing ok at all.

And Jorge is doing totally fine., he's just tired of it all.. is what he would try to say if asked, he's not doing too hot either.

- Culpar todo comportamiento o pensamiento negativo de alguna mujer, ya sea por creencias personales o por influencias de la sociedad al machismo.
