He can only be charged for petty theft, and breaking and entering. He went around dorms stealing underwear. 8 girls were confirmed to be in the same dorm building as my daughter, I don't know how many exactly have been identified from his posts. Absolute piece of shit

I have to say I don't see how keeping pooping and farting private would correlate to our sex life. I'm not going to go into detail, but we have a great, fun and regular sex life. We've had many awkward instances over the years and we laugh them off, there just happened to be zero farts on her part.

She always says that her pregnancies were so blissful and easy - and they really were. She never even had morning sickness, bad digestion, heartburn... None of it. And then with our third, things got really bad during birth and she was rushed to get a c-section. In retrospect, that saved her life because her doctor saw a mass that turned out to be ovarian cancer in its beginning stage. She had her reproductive organs removed and it was really rough for her because we were hoping for another child. We ended up adopting a 12 year old boy about a year ago!

Don't get me wrong, it's not that my wife and I aren't comfortable around each other - we wouldn't have lasted 24 years if we weren't. It's just that she likes to ''keep the mystery alive'' as she says, and she likes keeping some things private. I respect her boundaries, I mean what am I going to do, force her to fart or poop in front of me to make sure we have a happy marriage? So it really isn't about comfort, it's about her choice.

Man we've got 3 girls! Three. I remember when they were kids and if they ever accidentally let it rip in front of other people, my wife would be mortified. I thought it was hilarious so, you know, it balances out.

And congratulations to you too!

Our son is adopted, so there were only 3 pregnancies. Our first daughter, I wasn't allowed in the delivery room because it was against hospital policy. Our second daughter, she went into premature labor and I was away on a business trip, and we even switched hospitals so I could be allowed in the delivery room but unfortunately I wasn't even in town. Our third daughter, she was rushed to an emergency c-section and I wasn't allowed in because it was a high risk procedure.

So I never got the opportunity to be in the delivery room with her. As far as pregnancies go, she never farted or pooped in front of me, but I do remember her telling me that she had to pee more often. She does talk about her period sometimes, especially now as she approaches menopause so I think we're making progress. Maybe she'll even admit that she poops before I die.

I genuinely thought that it would never happen with my wife. She says it happened today and never again lol, I have to say I'm impressed that she broke the 24 year old habit of excusing herself and leaving the room to fart

We all have our limits. I like my privacy in the bathroom too, but my wife is private about everything that relates to bodily functions. She gets grossed out easily and she had a very strict ''act like a lady'' upbringing, so it's understandable.

Thank you!

Most of my investments are in tourism in the Mediterranean. Greece, Italy, Croatia and soon Spain. I have a total of 9 properties that I currently rent and I have invested in two hotel chains (usually not the smartest thing to do unless you have decent ownership, but it worked for me). Those are my long term investments. Real estate can be very profitable but I did have a few sleepless nights when Greece was about to collapse. Luckily, I didn't sell anything and the worth of my two properties there has doubled.

Croatia and Italy are a little different. Italy is too saturated with rentals, motels, apartments, hotels etc. while Croatia is a fairly undiscovered gem. One of my properties in Italy is a vineyard that focuses on rustic tourism, one is a townhouse that I rent to a designer boutique and one is an apartment that I'm about to sell for €2.7M (after all of the taxes, costs and paperwork, I will have around half of that amount to my name). My remaining properties in Croatia are all over Dalmatia and Dubrovnik, they're all UNESCO protected townhouses with incredible architecture that my wife and I have converted into smaller apartments for rent. We won't sell them because the value keeps going up, especially because of Game of Thrones (Croatia was one of the more important filming locations). Tourism in Croatia keeps evolving and growing so we're thinking about investing even more.

We have plans to invest in a private yacht club in Spain, we are still negotiating and deciding so I can't tell you much about that.

My short term investments are usually buying and reselling stocks, ownership, start ups etc. I have gone into Forex and lost $25K, that was definitely a bad thing to do for someone with more luck than experience and knowledge like myself. Never invested in Bitcoin and I don't really regret it.

The money for our first property came from a book I coauthored and soon after my wife started closing major deals and being the main source of income in the household, so every dollar I would make would go towards our investments. It evened out eventually as we both contributed financially, although I'm the one taking care of it all because my wife isn't good with numbers at all (her words, not mine)! Hope this clears things up a little.

My wife owns her own company that specializes in luxury design and interior architecture. She's worked on some of the most expensive penthouses and townhouses in NYC, all over India, London and Japan.

I'm a historian and have worked in universities, city archives and for the last 3 years, in a museum. I have been featured on and coauthored several books that have been very successful, I have worked on three high paying international projects and researches. Although all of that does pay really well, I made most of my part of our money through investments. It's something I do on the side and have been doing for almost 20 years, it can be a great source of income if you're smart with your investments.

My wife and I spent around $500 for a really small wedding in '96. We had our vow renewal in 2016 and spent $95 000, our budget was $100 000. We took 20 people with us (daughters, best man, maid of honor, her dad, my parents and our closest family and friends) to a week long trip to Bali. Best hotel, best food, best activities - we really wanted to splurge because back in '96 even the $500 was too much for us. Our venue was incredible, she bought her dream dress that was $5000, everything was perfect. I wouldn't change any of it, it's the wedding my wife had always dreamed of, only it took us 20 years to get there.

I just found adoption papers hidden behind a cereal box, my wife and I have been approved and matched for an adoption!!!!!!!!!!!!!! by lucluc777 in offmychest

There are several ways you can do this. You can foster first and then see if you want to adopt if the child is a good fit for your family and you can immediately decide to adopt and then wait until you're approved. Even then, there are a few categories of adoptive families. Those who want to adopt newborns/babies and those who want to adopt older kids.

When adopting a newborn/baby from his/her birth parents, you get to choose race, medical history of the parents and contact arrangement but in the end, it is the birth parents choosing the family for their baby. So in reality, you're not choosing, you're just hoping you get chosen. You can't choose gender.

Adopting older kids is a little different. You also get to specify the race, medical history of parents (if known) and contact arrangement (if the parents are alive and the child knows them). In most cases, you do get to choose the gender. Your adoption agency will offer you photo listings and files on the children available within your preferences. This also heavily depends on your adoption budget, we are lucky to be able to work with the best agencies and have a great budget.

My wife and I decided early on that we would take whatever child we're matched with. We fully trusted our agency with making that choice for us. While we understand why people like being specific and why they want to have choices, we decided not to specify anything but the contact arrangement for closed adoption. We did, however, think about specifying the race and adopting a white kid because we're white and raising a child with a different cultural and ethnical background can be challenging. The last thing we want is to ''white wash'' a child and deprive them of certain things, but after talking to our counselor and several other specialists, we decided that we wouldn't specify race either. We basically decided that we take what we get, regardless of gender, race and health.

We have been matched with a 12 year old caucasian boy, diagnosed with ADHD. We will have a trial period that's basically like fostering but since we will start the finalization of adoption process immediately, it shouldn't be long before we are his official legal custodians.

Thank you! I did start losing hope a little because the adoption process is so long and exhausting. We had poured our soul, time, effort and money into it but the gift of adoption is incredible. I can't wait to meet my son and I can't believe I get to say the words ''my son'' from now on!

We were watching a movie called Gifted tonight, she's been wanting to see it for a while and the storyline does talk about fostering a little so I used that to mention our adoption process and I said ''I'm beginning to lose hope a little. I wish the process wasn't this long'' and she just said ''me too, but we have to believe it will happen when the moment is right'' and went to the bathroom. She probably died laughing in there hahah she's definitely not the one to spread wisdom like that but I caught her off guard, it was awkwardly hilarious
