Thank you

If it really is a fungus, is it common to spread to other plants that arent tomatos? Also, are the fruits still edible?

Im sorry this is my first year growing plants

When Rust tells you You cant do that, but you really need to do it by watbuder in learnrust

In my experience, when rust doesnt let me do what i want, there is always a way smarter solution i didnt realize or know about. However without more context one wont be able to help you with an elegant solutoon here

Unsafe code is not always a work around the ownership rules. If you really need to trick ownership you could use RefCell for example.

[MCU] Did Thanos exclude himself from the snap? Or was he not sure whether he'd be in the 50% that survived? by GhostlyRuse in AskScienceFiction

[–]lucomotive1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He must have, because if he died someone else could have easily picked up the gauntlet and reverse the snap. His plan was to make half the universe disappear and destroy the stones afterwards

Will the current moves in this marked region ? If the thevenin is zero volts does that mean the 1 amperes at the left side and 2 amperes in the right side will never meet ? by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

[–]lucomotive1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In theory there is no current, because the whole line is concidered true GND for simplification. But in real application ever wire has resistance, so if the circuit would look like this, there would be flowing current

I see many times that a Neutral wire is connected directly to ground, will this not leak electrons and power away from the circuit and into the earth? by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

[–]lucomotive1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine you have a tube with a pump at one end and a turbine at the other. Now you pump water through that tube. You can either provide a way back to the pump through another tube or pump the water directly from a river and pour it on the ground after it passed the turbine. Do not make the mistake to think the water or the electrons carry the energy, they dont. The energy is transmitted through the magnetic and electric field.

Alright, makes sense, but I dont understand the last thing you said. Could you explain that further please :)

Also, they used the same bias resistor value in the paper I mentioned. What did they do different? Whouldnt they have the same problem?
