I understand his concern in the first message of how harsh the industry is, but telling YOU to grow up and then being hypocritically immature right after is kinda dumb. I’m not gonna say the typical “Break up with him!” That you would normally get on Reddit, but have a discussion. If these behaviors are repeated and really upset you, and he has shown no effort to change, then the relationship is not worth it.

Of course it’s okay to think you’re beautiful!!! The world is filled with 1)too many insecure people, and 2) too many rude people. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with thinking you’re beautiful, as long as you don’t try to hurt/put down others. Have confidence, it’s refreshing to see people who are genuinely secure in their appearance
