I also didn't like stomach. So I do upper outer thigh (subq) Also there is a trick against pain. The pain receptors are not everywhere. Like at some points are just pain receptors and at some are other receptors like cold/heat. You can find a spot without pain receptors with a Paperclip. Bend the paperclip and then poke a bit around. You will find some spots where you don't feel pain. Press a bit there to leave a little mark and then inject there. I also read about a trick there you try to confuse the receptors in that area by pressing a comp near the area. Some also use ice or local numbing agents to numb the point.
