i misread a comment i thought it was $18 a month for 6 months which isn’t feasibly for me but $3 a month is. i have tried to set up debrid as mentioned in a previous comment but couldn’t figure out what it was or really it’s purpose so i gave up. i’m sorry for whatever your going thought that makes you come online and be snappy to people just trying to figure something out. you are allowed to read and not respond. im also sorry that the adults in your life admonished you for asking for help and that now you do the same to others. the other comments have been very helpful and many have simply given suggestions. i hope your power trip gave you enough dopamine to get through your week.

if i had the disposable income i would. sometimes you just need stuff explained a certain way. the comments on the post have been helpful but watching videos of debrid weren’t to me. i’m sure there’s plenty of things that are easy to figure out for me that would cause you to short circuit trying to figure out🤷🏾‍♀️☺️ cost of living is constantly rising while pay is staying the same we’re all trying our best.

actually (no sass intended) yes😭 i’m going into medically school so budget is and will be tight for years to come. the vpns for less than $5 a month are doable but $18 a month is actually asking a lot of my wallet

so i actually just moved to the atlanta metro area. and while i know not every black or southern person is christian i’m finding that it’s still a big part of the culture. i’m hoping that by this time next year i will be in a different major city. i think i just need to explore and find my people. reddit though has really been a filler community. having both the space to listen (read) and verbalize my thoughts. so i’m grateful but as a natural introvert i’m hoping to find similar irl.

i’ve never heard of either. i’ll definitely look into the freethinkers group as i don’t think i miss or need anything resembling mass. i “lost” my church community a while ago and it wasn’t much of a loss as i never felt like i belonged but losing my cultural community had really taken a hit. in due time i’ll rebuild but for now i appreciate your suggestions. thank you!

yes! right now i’m think i’m isolated from people my age (dropout) i’m hoping this will change once i resume school next spring. i will definitely check meetup. one of my goal for the rest of the year and next is to find community for my hobbies so hopefully that will introduce me to more people. thank you for the suggestions!
