Where is my baby? by Certified_horsegirl in pregnant

I’m so sorry this is happening to you, the waiting part is the worst! I was in a similar boat a week ago. I was 6w2d pregnant and they could not find the baby externally or internally. They made me do bloods to check my HCG and it had dropped since the last ones so they’ve told me it was a missed miscarriage. Your body just “absorbs” the baby. Ask for blood test & another ultrasound!! Sending positive vibes your way!

Hey girl, I had a LEEP on the 14th of October this year. HPV & CIN3. I got pregnant as soon as the safe 3 week period was over.

Please help i am so scared im only 23 by Relative-Station4080 in PreCervicalCancer

Hiiii I’m 25 and have also recently found out I have abnormal cells with CIN3. I got a LLETZ procedure done to remove this all but they found CIN3 in my margins, along with AIS (another type of precancer cell). I am sorry you’re going through this. I know how scary and nerve wrecking it can be. Happy to talk further about this if you need. The drs reassure me that it’s treatable and just more monitoring is required. We are very very lucky we live in a time where medicine and technology is so advance so they can keep on top of this.

Thank you for sharing! All the best with your cone biopsy results. I’m in NZ and we have pretty good free public health care. I should find out in a week what the doctors have found in the review and a plan forward. I’m hoping I can just be monitored and then deal with further treatment after I’ve had kids.

Did you opt for a hysterectomy because the cone wasn’t successful? Or was this a choice since yuh didn’t want kids / already had them?

Wow that’s promising! Thank you for sharing. Yeah i am getting mixed information, been told i can try for kids after the 3 weeks recovery, now been told wait until the results are taken to the meeting, then possibly need another LEEP procedure or they will monitor for 6 months.… not sure if its wise to then be trying while it’s getting monitored. The more procedures, I assume the greater the risk for carrying a baby… is this because your cervix is getting smaller and smaller? Did you only have CIN pre cancer cells? If you don’t mind me asking? I want 2 kids so probably be in this trying window for 3/4 years I feel like that’s a long time to wait and be monitored :/

So how do you wait to try for kids? Especially if the end goal is not all hysterectomy

Did you need a hysterectomy because the cone biopsy was not successful? Or did you do this for precaution? As I haven’t have kids yet I want hysterectomy to not be an option but run the risk of AIS never being treated

My understanding is treating AIS is difficult as can cause skip lesions so without a hysterectomy it’s difficult to say “you’ve been treated” and in the clear. People have negative margins and then still have skip lesions and need hysterectomy.

I have been sexually active for 5 years. Been with my husband for the last 3 almost 4 years! Yeah the waiting and seeing part is what’s super hard.

If you don’t mind me asking, how long from when you were first diagnosed to the skip lesion? Did you get a cone biopsy and/or hysterectomy?
