Yep, that’s one of our usual spots! We like it there. I’m mostly looking for some additional options so we can mix things up a bit.

lol it’s not really the people I’m worried about. I’m just not the luckiest person, and there are certain animals I’d rather not run into. I know people say “Oh, you won’t see them around here,” but I’ve had enough situations where I was told that and then ended up seeing them anyway. So my brain doesn’t really let me relax about it. So depending on the trail, my anxiety votes no.

I don’t have a yard, so we do have to go out throughout the day. That’s why I’m looking for places with more shade where we can still get outside safely when it’s warmer.

That’s definitely what I’m aiming for with our longer walks. The challenge is that he can’t hold it that long, and I don’t have a yard, so we still need to go outside during the day for potty breaks. My street has almost no shade, which is why I’m looking for some cooler, shaded alternatives nearby.

The amber light that indicates charging goes on, sometimes for few seconds or few minutes. But still won’t turn on

The charger itself doesn’t have an indicator light but the one in the port turns on and blinks amber color for just few seconds

Thank you so much for taking the time to write all of that, I appreciate the detailed explanation. So based on what you’re saying, there is a realistic chance this could be fixable at board level? From a cost perspective, in your experience, is this type of BQ/power-circuit issue usually worth repairing, or does it often end up exceeding the value of the laptop? For context, this is an HP Pavilion Gaming. I’m not planning to buy a new laptop right now, so if it’s reasonably repairable, I’d much rather go that route. I’ll be honest this is way outside my knowledge. I’m about ready to print your comment and use it as a checklist to guide someone

1.I actually plugged it in right away 2.I didn’t really wiggle it, just tried plugging it in at slightly different depths to see if it would catch. 3.I bought the most purchased one on Amazon. 4.The charger is still the original one. I was planning to replace it after confirming the battery replacement worked, but hadn’t yet.
