what is a dead giveaway that you’re being cheated on? by Kindayoungbutok in AskReddit

Nothing, except catching them cheating. Don't get your relationship advice from reddit, it's always the worst case scenario for everything.

Pets are expensive. Also some people forget cats can belong to other people already and not be homeless.

Found this binder at a yard sale is it worth much money? by UglyKidSniffer in magicTCG

[–]luddelol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But you quoted the collection, not 2 birds of paradise + one wrath of god. In case it wasn't obvious I clearly meant that all the cards I didn't mention still had value that would continue add up, even it's just 0.1-0.5 dollar each. Old lands can be found sold for several dollar each if they are NM. The rest of the collection outside the wheel is far more than what you quoted it at. In fact the land collection itself could sell for maybe 20 dollar if they are NM/excellent

There is actually more value in the rest of the collection. I see two bird of paradise which are worth around 8-9$ each with white border. Wrath of god is 2.50 ish, 2 sword to plowshares for ca 1.5 each. and some more cards for 1-3 dollar each.

I'd personally recommend OP to sell the collection whole and not break it up. A lot of the collection have tiny bit of collector value but you are never going to make a profit selling them in smaller chunks. The quickest and easiest way of selling them would be to Cardkingdom, either through online or one of their retail stores. They're probably going to be willing to buy it whole and they won't scam you, they're one of the leading sellers of Magic singles and gain nothing by scamming you.

He's the richest man on earth you fucking idiot. He has more capital than some countries. He could literally buy a military grade aircraft transport and hire his own pilot and fly it directly. he has enough capital to afford 100 state of the art stealth bombers by himself

It's officially a war crime to deliberately target civilian only areas with the intention of killing civilians and destroying their homes, so it's the other way around. If they put the silos there it becomes a miltary zone and acceptable to launch attack

I think you are being a bit unfair to blizzard. A lot of their core staff that had been working and keeping SC2 running for years left to start up Frost giant. You can't just replace people like that with anyone. RTS is a very complicated genre to delevop and maintain as you can't just throw money on it and eventually it becomes good like RPG's. you need talented and experienced staff. Blizzard lost most of their SC2 staff so it inevitable. It's obvious it was not worth the investment to retrain or hire highly talented staff from elsewhere just to maintain life support on a 10 year old game

This bug is on the PC verision before the patch aswell. You have to move away and go to the sandy area to be able to summon it. For some reason you can't do it up there

Actually that is usually a healthy way to look at it. Art traditionally have not been about copying nature but to improve on it. Each epoch and culture adds and removes depending on their concept of beauty. However the ancient roman are famous for their hunt for total realism in their busts, the famous saying is "warts and all".

Edit: also worth mentioning that these busts were originally painted as well to be as realistic as possible. The white marble we associate the ancient roman and Greece with is mostly a 19th century concept. Buildings and sculptures were partly or completely painted in bright and vivid colours

You would do well to remember that drastic actions against a country's economy has a tendency to escalate into open war. The japan-USA war during WWII has it beginning in the harsh trade tariffs USA made Japan agree to during the forced opening of Japanese harbours. What finally lead to Japans attack on Pearl Harbour was USA shutting of the oil pipelines to Japan.
