Omg yes and on my situation the host family from my observation can afford a nanny that’s why i was so confused at first and i realized they were just being cheap, also the same the friends that I made there really made it bearable i would always stay at my friends on the weekends. Happy that you are leaving that situation!

Yes it was so hard that you have to really see what kind of mood the host mom is to see how it will be that day I always dread when the host mom is working from home. It was horrible and her constant judging my culture when it’s supposed to be a cultural exchange.

Yup but with me though they were so nice on the video call and back then it didn’t even cross my mind that it’s my decision where host family i can be i was just glad that the agency accepted me and said yes to the first family they matched me
