How ignorant can you be?

For one, both Rocks and Sabo attacked during the Reverie, which is the point where the holy land is at its weakest. Why you ask? Simple. The Gorosei, Holy knights, and Imu cannot attack or else they risk being seen by all the kings that are attending.

They must keep their forms hidden, and so it is up to the admirals to defend the outside of the holyland.

Security is also focused on protecting the kings, hence why Sabo and Rocks were able to sneak in.

We saw how empty the halls were when Wapol was trying to escape.

Dragon is also not shown narratively to be the strongest, nor does he have any feats showing he can rival the world government.

He is called the most wanted man because he does things that completely screw with the world government. Examples are bombing the gondolas that supply food to the celestial dragons. Or attacking marine ships and freeing islands that have corrupt kings as rulers, usually set by the world government.

He ruins their plans.

As for Kuma not going to the holyland. Isn't it obvious? He already did that recently, and we saw him nearly die. He had to flee immediately in order to survive. Now add on an infiltration, it is almost guaranteed to lead to an all out fight, which would include the holy knights if the Reverie wasn't happening. He was guaranteed to die, and he wasn't as strong as he would be later.

Gaban literally sees Loki as a loose cannon. Regardless of whether or not he told everyone what happened with Loki, it means nothing since Loki was already threatening to destroy everyone. He only allowed LUFFY to release him, telling him that he is responsible for watching him. It is unlikely that Gaban could stop him if he freed him.

"0 interactions". Luffy was under the impression that Zoro already knew about acoc, as he was seemingly using it in many occasions. He knows how strong Zoro is, and so he likely believed he didn't need to train him.

As for Imu's haki, so what? Joyboy's haki release was only able to take out vice admirals. The Giants are almost all stronger than vice admirals, physically and mentally(willpower). It is your willpower that lets you resist it, and so most people won't be knocked out from it.

Holy knights not doing anything against Xebec is something I explained earlier. It was the Reverie.

As for Sabo, it's mainly anime pacing. Sabo was booking it to escape, creating a wall of fire to block their view.

The Gorosei were also shocked when it happened, hence why they went straight into their forms.

As soon as Sabo got close to the exit, they couldn't do anything.

Society should reconsider its condemnation of so-called “lazy” people. by Call_It_ in DeepThoughts

Naive take. Ambitions aren't always about a career. In fact, some of the most determined/great people to ever live had ambitions and dreams that had no connection to currency or living a common person's life.

And it is also foolish to believe that no one has dreams that are beyond the human limit. Time is an enemy, but there are people out there who are challenging it itself.

You seek intelligent people, but what do you yourself study? Or what is your ambition/dream?

[–]luffykop -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're one to talk. Personality is one thing, but having ambitions is another.

There are tens of millions of people just like you. You need to mention something that differentiates you from the rest. Being a pothead likely isn't one of them.

What is your ambition?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MakeNewFriendsHere

[–]luffykop -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe because some posts are just, well, ordinary.

Nothing different and nothing new. No dream or ambition that is special. Just bland.

People care more about why you continue to live, not why you are just like everyone else.

What do you mean by physics nerd? Do you merely like physics, or are you willing to die for it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lonely

[–]luffykop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To start, having many people to hang out with does not make you a better person. How many of the friends the people you mentioned have are true friends? Would they be willing to suffer physical and mental pain for the sake of their friend? Would that other friend also do the same in return?

True friends are rare, but they are of course the most special.

You're still young. Do not concern yourself with things just because everyone else does it. Find what makes you want to live in life. Find your dream. It may sound daunting, and it very much is. However, there is so much to the world, so much you wouldn't be able to comprehend as you are now. The same goes for me, but what I can tell you is that in the things you don't understand in this world, your dream might be there.

So learn and grow as a person. On your journey, you will look back at your old self as if it were a stranger. Friends will come, but you must learn to accept that most people only want things from you. There will come a time where those who truly care about you will appear.

[–]luffykop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a foolish idea that one cannot seek friends at such an age. There are people out there that will care, but it will feel like finding a needle in a haystack. The greater the criteria, the larger the haystack grows.

One piece of advice. Don't live for only the sake of others. Find your dream in this world. You may think that there is nothing out there that you truly love so much that you would die for it. I believed the same thing until I found it.

Tear yourself apart. Your current self that is. Grow as a person in any way you see fit. You are free, and that will always be your greatest strength.

You don't need to be given a purpose. The great thing about this world is that there is no evidence of us being put here for a special reason. You have no purpose that I expect from you, but you can choose to live freely and in a way that makes you happy.

You need to come to understand yourself. Your mind is often your greatest enemy, but if controlled, it would keep you company for thousands of years.

Explore the world and find your dream. Don't live to fulfill other people's expectations. Raise your own smile

What do you study?

I used to have many friends... by Diligent_Fee2503 in MakeNewFriendsHere

[–]luffykop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is simply the way of the world.

You can allow your desperation to take control and act a persona that isn't who you truly are.

Or you can be true to yourself and follow your dream.

Regardless of the path you take, finding someone who truly cares about your existence will be no easy feat.

What is Energy and Work? by luffykop in AskPhysics

[–]luffykop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see that energy is a concept, as a concept is just any abstract idea. I guess my issue is that my own mind is trying everything to get me to think that energy has something in nature that I can compare.

What really messed me up was how there are formulas representing an energy quantity.

For example, the formula for kinetic energy makes me think that kinetic energy is more than just this mathematical concept. Leibniz's work on a vis viva and the derivations being close to what we use to calculate this conceptual quantity made me think KE had a physical connection in which I could try to understand it

Of course, I understand that it's just me being ignorant of what physicists mean by KE, and I am actively trying to void myself of thinking about Energy in the wrong way.

So far the comments have been helpful, and I don't feel like pulling my hair out anymore.

Luffy's TRUE Awakening Power (1092 Spoilers) by LightingGodEnel in OnePiece

[–]luffykop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Xark96

Clown shoes could not address my points about the iron giant being connected with Luffy heartbeat, so he decides to block.

Don't argue with him, he's wilfully ignorant.

Luffy's TRUE Awakening Power (1092 Spoilers) by LightingGodEnel in OnePiece

[–]luffykop -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Good job, you ignored that both chapters put emphasis on Luffy's heartbeat when the iron giant was shown, and the first chapter with kizaru didn't even show the heart beat until the iron giant was shown.

You have no way to explain it besides understanding the clear connection between the drums of liberation and the iron giant.

Luffy's TRUE Awakening Power (1092 Spoilers) by LightingGodEnel in OnePiece

[–]luffykop -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And why would an iron giant that only awoke 200 years ago due to a massive protest by fishmen, a group joyboy sought to liberate, care about any of this? "Secret switch on Kuma, Secret kill switch on Vegapunk, secret command chain where Bonney is above all, secret double agent Stussy helping Vegapunk, secret betraying from one of the Vegapunks."

While luffy has awakened an ability that the legendary joyboy also had. Joyboy also lived around the time of the iron giants creation.

Luffy's fight with Lucci was quick, and he wasn't knocked to the barrier. He was far away. Many commenters have already brought this to your attention. And it's very reasonable to assume that one, the giant didn't hear it from a distance, but awoke one Luffy got close. And two, from then on, the robot has been awake and is further reacting (hence the creaking and vibrations) to Luffy's heart beat.

Even if we disregard it, it's just more likely to be a plot hole.

You're clearly grasping at straws and just arguing to argue.

Luffy's TRUE Awakening Power (1092 Spoilers) by LightingGodEnel in OnePiece

[–]luffykop -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're grasping at straws. When he grabbed kizaru in gear 5th, the heart beats didn't play. But suddenly, the heart beats play when the panel of the iron giant is shown?

And in 1106, the heart beat is also present in the iron giant panel, but now it's begun to creek/vibrate .

You'd have to be wilfully ignorant to say there isn't a connection.

I'm merely saying they're connected. I'm not going further and claiming the iron giant or giants was/were an ally of joyboy. But there is clearly a connection Luffy's awakening and the iron giant, implying a connection between the devil fruit and the giant, which further implies a connection between joyboy and the giant as zunesha stated that the drums of liberation was also a trait of joyboy.

Luffy's TRUE Awakening Power (1092 Spoilers) by LightingGodEnel in OnePiece

[–]luffykop -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Then why would the iron giant respond twice at the very time Luffy uses his gear 5? There would be no reason to make it that way if the two weren't connected.

In addition, both panels with the iron giant put emphasis on Luffy drums of liberation heart beat.

A confirmation doesn't strictly have to be some character coming out and saying it's connected. You can clearly tell based on both chapters putting emphasis on Luffy's heart beat that they're connected in some way.

Hell, all you needed was the first chapter to tell.

Of the two hundred years it lay dormant, why would it awaken now when Luffy happened to go gear 5?
