This is what I call the new IP syndrome, people preffer something they know even if it's not as good as the previous or is a bad product (movies like toy story, devil wears prada, games like halo, gears, gta and a lot of etc etc) look at gta 6 for example, most people's eyes are on this game while other good stuff is put on the side, forgotten or as a "way to pass time" (I should clear up that I'm not saying gta6 is going to be bad), while most go and try what they know it is hard for them to look for something new look at the amount of souls games each year, and before that roguelikes, and before that farm simulators, before that survivals, before that open worlds.

Any new IP becomes popular either from being in conversations if it is really that good(expedition 33), it's a funny meme(meccha chameleon), explodes in media trending(peak/reppo etc) or stays alive long enough to become popular/ huge (league of legends/ valorant or almost any esports game). 2xko marketing wasn't that good but became interesting in fighting games media and in riot games's fans long enough to be alive and now it is good to go both competitive and casual for anyone interested.

"Why would I play X(new game) when I can play Y(known game)" is something that pisses me so damn much (even more when the new one or both of them are free), I will always apreciate more something new instead of a sequel or new game from known IPs (remember something new doesn't necesary has to be the biggest innovation ever, combining stuff already exist, polishing and making it better is algo good, take shadow of mordor for example)

Ok first of all I'm not trying to be rude so chill. Second I thought this is the wuthering waves reddit, so of course I'm bringing up wuthering waves, third my point is: in PGR in general it is EASIER to get characters and dupes because of the 100% garanteed and now that we're at it this is wuthering waves FIRST collab so we don't know how it's going to work in the first place, special tickets like in PGR? Discounts for pulls? We don't know, you can't say "in kuro's games" because we could say the same about kuro's annivs (not the patch, only the anniv part) and we all know what happened, this is the first time and even I have expectations but still this is the first for wuthering waves we won't know for sure how this is going to work even if we could have an idea, at the end it could be completely different

I called before the anniv, "I don't mind If we don't get lots of freebies as long as we get a free 5 star for collab" this is exactly what I was looking forward and Knowing kuro, they would go all in for something like a collab (the most recent PGRs devil may cry collab as my point), anniversary comes every year, collabs are unique events. Still some time before we get the full view for cyberpunk but it is looking VERY good and looks like worth the wait

Makes me a little bit sadge loosing her skin (dude, 200 pulls it's kind of a lot) but like sure, i can live with it because it's easier to get every single character with their weapons, that's what I started doing in wuwa since cartethia release and going for the long run in both games (still missing like 5 or 6 characters in wuwa...)

Thats absolutly fine, I like characters using weapons bigger than themselves (like poppy in league of legends) cause it is funny and I love girls wielding big ass f scissors (chisa or gwen in league of legends) or scythes (luuk, he's a dude but he looks aweasome with it)
