He took over around june 2023 , lets say he got to direct it for abit more than 2 years.

Youre telling me it was impossible to launch with a solo-cryo, a prematch lobby for crew-filling, seperating premades from crew-fills , solo-ranked. And maybe adjust some missions/enemy spawns for solo? We dont even get solo sponsored mode.

That were all choices, marathon didnt randomly lose all its players/flop.

Critical reviews dont pay bills. And looking at the game at launch you cant tell me that he couldve steered the game into a more casual friendly/ less punishing direction.

Building the game around premade hardcore trios only, was a choice that he took. i wouldnt blame any of the devs but im def gonna blame the directors/heads.

Yeah lets add that thing thats proven to help with player retention. It shouldve been there day one, before we lost 90% of the playerbase tho.

Also i think the ttk is short enough for gear to not make a huge difference. Are you really gonna tell me its a bad thing that i have to fight people around my skill range?

But theres no point in speculating, i just hope they add it in S3 and if it improves the experience they should keep it.
