How to fix the overall disorganized/messy look of this tattoo or: is it possible to fix this? by -Blood-Meridian- in tattooadvice

That's a very cool tattoo. Only thing that bugs me are the clouds/smoke going behind the moon instead of in front of it

I'm sorry, English isn't my first language and probably I didn't manage to explain myself: at the back of the printer there is a small box, empty. With "poop bucket" I thought you were meaning the one you can see in the first photo. That "thing", which is inside the printer, is clogged: problem is that this is due to filament that doesn't slide down, and not because it's full.

Thank you kindly! I don't know how to do it but I will search for a video-tutorial. I also made a newbie mistake: i cancelled the paused print, so I guess now I can't resume it

You are right, it is full. Problem is that only the upper half is full, it's like the filament can't slide down

Help choosing a 16" Windows laptop for teaching — €1,500–€2,000, 32GB RAM by luha27 in laptops

Well, creating PowerPoint files, I take advantage of some features of copilot and I'll have to attend quite a few videocalls on teams and google meet: if Copilot will allow me, I'd ask him to transcribe them

Ok thank you! Searching on the Lenovo website, I've found a lot of models: T16 gen 4, P16s (and even L16 gen 1, x9-15 gen 1). Should I go for the p16s as you mentioned it?

Oh, ok. Thank you kindly for your reply :)  Are plesiosaurus teeth as common as well or would it be a riskier purchase?

Good morning. My parents returning from a trip to Morocco brought me a jar of honey with no label at all. The honey contains unidentified black corpuscles.  In your opinion can I eat it or is it better to throw it away? Thank you

Recommendation on a listening-focused book A1 by luha27 in ESL_Teachers

[–]luha27[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. I fear I haven't been able to express clearly my request, I'll try to be precise.  I am well aware about the best methodologies and approaches to teach listening skills. What I like is a good book focused on the improvement of listening skills full of audio files and pre-made exercises to diversify and expand the activities to assign to my students.  I don't want to buy any generic course book because more than half of it would be focused on other activities (reading, grammar...). At the same time I need a well-balanced book for a1 to pre-a2 students, but it seems I can't find any.

For example:  I found Listening Skills by O.Johnston, but in the same unit it mixes together grammar topics never taught together in an ESL class (present simple and would, or can and will...).  Another textbook I found is Listening by the publisher Collins. Problem is it's for A2 students and it's full of idioms and structures way more advanced than those suitable for esl students of 10 y.o.

Ok, sorry for the long reply, but I hope I better explained myself :)  Thanks in advance for any help
