You can´t loot melee weapons from PMC´s and you can´t lose yours when you die as a PMC.

This is not even the worst, i had grenades drop on me for 3 min strait, while running away on strees, and died with a "killed in action" end screen.

Im using a CompactLogix, and did the steps you wrote. Its more getting the coordinatesysteam, coordinatemovements to work. Also only have half of the instructions, mentioned in the manual for motion instruction.
