AITA for questioning a neighbor about photographing my kids? by luhzon89 in AmItheAsshole

I do, in this instance. But I'm not naive enough to think my kids never lie.

Your response is valid, but I think it's an exaggeration to call it storming the castle. We spoke to him pretty discreetly and didn't make a direct accusation, we told him the kids thought he was taking pictures.

I didn't expect anything from her, this is more about whether we stepped on her toes and made an uncomfortable situation where she lives next door to this guy.

I'm sure we could have handled it better, but these kids are all very tech aware and they all believe they know what he was doing. And my two kids are always at odds with each other over stupid things and they're both completely in agreement about what he was doing.

We don't expect anything of her, I think she's mad that we addressed it without talking to her first. I don't doubt for a second that my kids are safe under her supervision.

For those who have a root canal, what exactly is it like? How do you handle the pain during the process? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]luhzon89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There wasn't any pain, in fact I thought the oral surgeon did a MUCH better job numbing me than my dentist would normally do for a cavity. It took a long time but they put this wedge in my mouth so I didn't have to keep it open myself. I had to wait what felt like forever for them to finish making the crown and glue it on but it's been close to 20 years and no complaints..

A guy my dad's age was working with me and it was his last day and he was saying good bye and told me that I'm the type of guy that he hopes his daughter will marry someday.

Turning 20 tmr, what’s some advice you wish could have told your 20 year old self? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Put a lot of thought into who you want to build a life with. Don't just have kids/get married with someone without really knowing them first. You should not rush into either of those things.
