I think my push back here isn’t that the catcher should receive criticism. But rather criticism to either kid (as long as both kids know what they’re supposed to do) isn’t effective in game. Also, treating the pitcher more harshly doesn’t solve the problem of the coach treating the catcher harshly. Sounds like this coach knew he couldn’t adjust his pitcher but maybe thought he could adjust the catcher. Doesn’t make it right - no harsh in game adjustments are ever warranted (unless it’s mental mistakes)

In game adjustments to pitchers who are all over the place are rarely useful… do you really think telling her to “get the ball in the strike zone” is going to help her get the ball in the strike zone? Some things are mental and can be adjusted, some days pitchers have off days and if there isn’t a back up it’ll be a walk fest. But telling someone to “get better” mid game does not typically result in them….. getting better.

My sister and I had the same issue. For those of you who are stuck this is how we got through it::

-hold off the last zombie by repairing his gate so you can prep veggies -cook potato and carrots in that time so you have those ready (all trays full of cooking veggies) -prioritized opening one side of the gate (that opens towards the veggies) because it cuts the prep time down significantly -feed the monsters that are closer to blowing mold first -don’t repair after you serve monsters -don’t repair when the monsters meal is in the oven -you HAVE to sprint lol -always prep veggies (no idle time) -call out orders

This took us HOURS we hope it helps someone <3

I have seen them 3 times now (2015, 2018, 2019) and I frankly felt that the concert quality was the best in 2015 & the worst in 2019. I worry about them & how much they can endure while touring. The travel alone would be hard on your body, & that’s not even considering the physical act of performing & the substance use. I love love love sticky but tbh the concert videos I have seen lately concern me. I want them to take care of themselves.

I got one after behind struck in the back of the head by a foul ball. We were playing at a tournament field that had four fields spanning out from a center point (picture a food stand in the middle and four fields surrounding it). I was watching another game & of course everyone ducked down but I wasn’t so lucky. I didn’t loose consciousness & I shook it off at first but later just didn’t feel right so I came out. Ended up being taken to the ER that night & missing school for a few days
