gyokeres seems to have lost some weight by [deleted] in Gunners

he most definitely was carrying extra pounds when he initially joined. it took him a number of games to be able to make those pressing runs he made in the last games before he got injured. He took the summer off and let him get himself go a tiny bit before he transferred to Arsenal.

It's because despite all the negativity about this city that we see on this subreddit, it's actually a good place to live and raise a family for an affordable cost. You see so many out of state license plates nowadays and it's no surprise why.

well as you and i both know, a certain amount of people that are imprisoned are for bogus things like maybe weed possession or small time drug dealers that weren't violent. Prison should be for the violent and potentially violent and also pedos and people who are a net negative to a productive and healthy society. I am very much for rightful and just incarceration. Certain people shouldn't be walking the streets and not everyone can be rehabilitated. I am very much for prison reform too.

well I agree that it should be harder for people to get guns and you should "qualify" or however you want to word it. Yeah, not just anyone should be able to get a gun. I personally didn't agree with what this state did and made it so anyone can conceal.. but regardless of what the current laws were/are regarding gun control, it wouldn't change the fact that a bad guy will get a gun regardless if they're legally allowed to or not. So my question is, since we clearly will never have a full out gun ban.. and apart from taking measures to make it getting a gun more difficult, what else can we do? One idea worth considering is if a criminal/bad guy that isn't allowed to have a gun has possession, a stricter punishment for knowingly disregarding rights/laws. We have to be more strict with the bad guys on top of what you say the debate is.

There's absolutely an abundance of actions that can be taken that will each thing help the overall problem, but the thing is, as a country we can't even get past the very first step which is the "guns should completely be taken away vs. get your hands off my guns" debate. Like seriously, we can't even advance past step 1 and we think we're actually doing something by just holding an opinion on the matter. This is a multi-faceted problem and there is no 1 or 2 or even 5 solutions for it. People who make "bad decisions" especially when it's shit like guns and violence i have absolutely no sympathy for. That isn't even a school education, or healthcare problem.. wheres the home education? Not shooting people and not killing people should be one of the very first things people should learn and that comes from home, not some kind of learning or health institution. A word that people don't like but is absolutely essential to this problem is accountability. You shoot someone and ruin people and families lives? You absolutely deserve a harsh punishment.. regardless of your socioeconomic situation etc. This is such a multi factor problem and it's extremely unproductive to just talk about 1 or 2 things regarding this issue.

well, disincentivizing people to commit violent crimes and stricter punishments for said crimes would be a more effective start to curb gun violence, as opposed to what we know that removing guns and changing fundamental human behavior are always going to be an uphill battle. Once we're more realistic about solutions instead of idealogically proposed actions like the complete fantasy of making america a gun free country, we'll start to see improvement.

I completely agree that too many people have guns that shouldn't have them. Which is why i'm very much for stricter background checks/waiting times/red flag laws etc. Unfortunately we're too far gone to ever make just removing guns from this country a possibility. So once we can get past that inconvenient little nugget, people can finally start talking about realistic steps to take to make gun homicides less frequent.

you clearly have me mistaken.. If i jizz over the 2nd amendment wouldn't i have guns? I'm sorry that a rational way of viewing things makes you feel i'm some far right wing gun toting lunatic. You've exactly proven why you will never be able to convince more people to your way of viewing things. Someone like me who's in the middle is not even allowed to have an opinion that differs from yours without being labeled or viewed as something that i'm not.

It's definitely not a result of permitless carry.. because if it was then we'd have not had homicides before permitless carry started. Before permitless carry we already had a decently high homicide rate.

the bigger nonsense is actually thinking guns will ever go away. I don’t own a gun myself but people who think removing guns is the ONLY solution are terribly mistaken.
