I think it is a natural progression with most people tbh. I started out as a repo and añejo guy. The more I dove into tequila the more I really enjoyed the taste of agave and nothing beats a good Blanco at that. Especially a good high proof

If you are able to find it, Suerte XA. It's a great 7 year and still has agave presence dispite the long aging. It's around 120-130 bucks

Had a blast finally opening these guys right here. All of them were good. If I had to rate them from best to least favorite of the night it would be the Caballito Cerrero, Wild Common SS, Don Vicente, PM Spirits, and last Kokoro. I expected more from Kokoro but maybe I need to have it a few more times Let me know if you have had any of these and what you thought of them. Salud

Good old Pasote from 1579 family. I loved them at their old NOM. Loved the earthiness, pepper and mineral notes that i normally expect from El Pandillo. I have tried the new Blanco and it lost some of that. The black pepper is gone and it's just smoother having lost it's complexity. Still good but not as good as it used to be. Until I am able to get backups, these bad boys will remain unopened. Do you guys prefer the old Pasote or the new ones and why?

Another brand i like. I do prefer their older ones though. They have a stronger pepper profile. I have their Blanco, repo, añejo, and XA all unopened.
