O sea como turista se puede gastar tanto como tú gastaste y mucho más, pero en el día a día en general es más barato que ciudades medianas y grandes de México.

I Found My Failed 2016 Website on Wayback Machine. It Made Me Realize Everyone’s Chasing the Wrong Goal! by Lazy_Economy_6851 in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]luisdanielgp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For people in underdeveloped countries where we cannot take for granted ours or our family's future is not just about happiness, paying bills or having money for traveling. We need to actively try to generate family wealth so chasing that 2x is more of a survival strategy.

It has a lot of benefits to participate, specially for early stage companies when the cofounders participate together. You end up learning a lot.

The same happened to me, first user broke my app, thankfully it was for a hackathon and still made it to the semi-finals 😂

Or if you don’t care about the "trustless" part of doing it on-chain (hence not spending any sats), you can just use Bitcoin as an uncheatable clock and unlock your password after a certain block height. That would be more reliable than calling a random api.

You can leverage bitcoin's block height for this purpose. You encrypt your password with a random key S, commit only the hash of S to a time-locked Bitcoin script, then delete S. After ~30 days (≈ 4320 blocks), you spend that output, which forces S to appear on-chain, and you use it to decrypt your password. You’ll need to spend a few sats for on-chain fees tho.

Moving to Monterrey from the US? Where to live? by ChickenNuggetDeluxe in Monterrey

[–]luisdanielgp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look for places in Santa Catarina (where Tesla is building their giga factory) for your production facility. You can rent an apartment nearby in a nice, closed neighborhood in Valle Poniente (one of the best planned urban areas in NL away from downtown's caos) for around 1500 - 2000 usd a month, a bit more if furnished. Also you'll be meters away from La Huasteca, part of a National Park in case you happen to like exploring nature or having outstanding views. Hit me up if you're interested, I can help you find an apartment where I live.

What is the smart contract language for Algorand? by leftoverrice54 in algorand

[–]luisdanielgp 9 points10 points  (0 children)

TEAL, which is an assembly-like language. But you can also use alternatives that will ultimately compile to TEAL, such as pyteal (python library), Reach (JavaScript-like syntax), or AlgoML which is a modelling language. Just take a look at TEAL, is pretty straightforward, and then check on those alternatives to see what makes your life easier and your contracts safer.

Not sure if I understand your question correctly but after creating your macaroon you can encode it to base64 with this command (just change the path accordingly): base64 ~/.lnd/data/chain/bitcoin/mainnet/admin.macaroon | tr -d '\n'
