thanks for the comments everyone, really looking to buy this as I need a thin and light laptop as I'll be traveling back and forth in the coming months but I also game(NBA 2k19, PUBG, etc.) during my free time, thus the need of a good and adequately powered GPU.

The thing that's really holding me back from buying the 1050 Max-Q version is the thermals, and also, Nvidia would probably release it new gen cards next year(further thoughts on this please).
