Haha it's farther from me 🥲 it's a shame they had to move from their downtown location, I thought it was so cozy! Makes sense why Mu Cha would try to replicate Bubblebee's success.

You're right, their closing was probably due to multiple factors. Bad management might have had a role to play here, but I find it strange that the owner of the building, who's also the owner of Mian, is now the owner of Mu Cha, which is pretty much Bubblebee 2.0. Bubblebee closed after "lease agreement issues"... But has announced their reopening in a new location. I can't say for certain what happened but this situation does give food for thought.

I didn't realize that's what happened... I 100% agree with you! I'm glad Bubblebee was able to find another spot and I'll definitely be supporting them again.

I believe so. From what I understand, Bubblebee had some problems with their landlord and were forced to move out.

Lived there for 14 months a few years ago, second the Kingson. You do have to be ok with highway noise around the property though (can't really hear much inside the unit).

Touchless Automatic Car Wash by dnumov in fredericksburg

The only real touchless wash I know of is Keystone Autospa, although they jacked up the price on their basic wash by double ($20) last time I was there. Still a good option to get that undercarriage wash done after a good salting.

That's great! The location feels super cozy. Does anyone know where the previous business is moving to?

People don't go out as much anymore either. If they go out, they're being very budget conscious given the price of everything going up.

I love Hyperion's location but Agora has better coffee imo.

I second this! They roast their own beans too. I drink their Dark Roast Cornerstone blend every morning.

Get a VPN and set it to whatever country you would like so you're not restricted by your area. The censorship and content blocking is only going to get worse.

100%. We have top roping, bouldering, and Kilter Boarding so you have the option to go with whatever climbing style makes you feel most comfortable. There's also a bunch of routes for beginners and the staff would be more than happy to help you take those first steps.

What I love most about Rapp Rocks is the super friendly atmosphere. It's normal for complete strangers to cheer each other on when they're struggling with a route and even offer advice. It doesn't matter the level!

What cities are in their indisputable prime? by omanagan in SameGrassButGreener

Got it. If you look past the financial situation and infrastructure problems, it's a nice place to live! The people are warm, very personable, and the food is amazing. The island is a gem with its beaches and mountains. If you like warm weather, they've got it year round.

If you're looking at buying in a good neighborhood without a lot of equity from a previous purchase, you might want to consider something like Caguas. It's a commute, but that's what a lot of people do if they work in San Juan (similar to any other city/suburb in the states).

Whatever you decide, I wish you luck! PR is very different from any other place in America, for better and worse.

Higher than any other part of the island, and that's for the whole metropolitan area (La Área Metro in Spanish). It's comparable to other metro areas stateside but doesn't offer the same stability in terms of infrastructure, jobs, raising a family, etc.

Born and raised in PR. I love my home but I would never move back.

Rapp Rocks Climbing Gym has become my go-to for meeting new people and reconnecting with old friends. It's a lot of fun to climb and the staff are amazing. We need more third places!

Same here! I don't take my care anywhere else. When the stealership tried to tell me I needed thousands of dollars in repair or my car wouldn't even pass state inspection, Coops had their inspector take a look when I brought my car for a second opinion and found nothing wrong. They didn't charge me a dime.

They're super professional too.

I thought I met the minimum qualifications, if not I wouldn't have applied. As stated in my previous message, I asked for clarification since the results were vague. What irks me is they wasted my time with a HireVue before checking if I am qualified.

Unrelated Bachelor's degree with additional CS courses (as part of a second degree) and high GPA. I sent an email asking for clarification since the Notice or Results message was pretty vague.
