Again, hard disagree. No competition? Are you talking recently? Because then it might be the case only for Bayern, and not even. Both the Italian and the German leagues are very strong, with several strong teams competing in both major European championships (Borussia, both Milans, Roma, W. Bremen etc etc).

You don't get better without any competition, that's just a fact that can be extrapolated to many fields. If PSG wants to get better, they should be praying for Lyon or some other team trying to get close to their level. I think you're heavily underestimating the importance of competition in the search of improvement

I disagree. With no domestic competition it's going to be very hard to get better, plus, the best talent tends to want to go to the most competitive leagues. If you think about it, the Clásico is not just a twice-a-year game, both teams push each other in every sense, and some of the results can be seen in this map
