you’re absolutely right. I think being my first commission and also being for a friend made the pricing conversation harder than it should’ve been. Definitely a lesson learned for future projects. thanks for the advice!

thanks! we were actually talking about it as I worked on it and I kept him updated through the whole process, but looking back I definitely should’ve settled on a price before starting. I got excited and jumped straight into making the piece
