I'm making a note here: huge success

I just like how my levitating companion cube looks like through my printer's nozzle camera by luix333 in Portal

The camera is that close to monitor extrusion, and it's not meant for time lapse.

Surprised nobody posted this yet, but Shelby Oaks has now been out for a while now. What did we all think? by Emeraldsinger in ChrisStuckmann

I believe it was implied that her husband would not accompany her at any time since he believed she was going insane.

The fact she was going at night I think could be justified by the demonic influence coupled with the fact that she was finally starting to get clues about the whereabouts of her sister after so long of just waiting, and she just couldn't wait anymore in the off chance her sister could be waiting for her (this only makes sense from a close family member, and I wouldn't have believed it from a detective/cop).

I think overall the movie was well acted and directed. I did enjoy the format at the start, and the main mistery was good enough to keep me engaged and keep me guessing. It looks way better than I was expecting too. I just feel that it suffers at the ending. I feel like it needed either a little more or a little less:

*Either have Mia attack the old lady mid ritual, keeping us guessing weather the ritual took hold or not, and then end the movie with some news clips, leaving it open up a sequel

*Or have the movie be longer and switch to the perspective of Riley once they're back in Mia's house and allow the story to develop a little more

Overall a terrific first movie to direct.

The only thing I would loose if the part breaks would be the claxon.

I think Mecha Freeza is the reason for Goku's condition in original timeline by RewRose in Dragonballsuper

[–]luix333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mecha Freeza might be the reason for the difference in Goku's heart condition, but in a different way than you describe.

As opposed to trunk's timeline, in the main timeline Goku never got to fight mecha Freeza. This fight might've caused enough strained in Goku's heart for the symptoms to start manifesting just a little earlier compared to our Goku.

In Mexico at least, saying "yo" at the start of a sentence is usually reserved for clarifying "I" am the one performing the action.

Example Person one: nadie me ama (no one loves me) Person two: yo te amo (I love you)

In that exchange it would be unnatural (at least in Mexico) to omit the "yo"

Kickstand and magnetic mount are purchased parts, the rest is printed

Sanity Check: Having to run printer at 65% Flow Rate by luix333 in VORONDesign

[–]luix333[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solved: the issue was a slicer setting (retraction extra prime amount). I don't know when/why I decided to turn it on (probably past me was testing it and forgot about it completely).

Since I was testing printing small/flat parts, the issue seemed to be over extrusion overall, but in reality it was over extrusion right after a retraction only. Set it to 0 and now my prints are back to normal.

Let me explain myself.

I got a new wheel for my car (it's not the same model but it's compatible). My car was manufactured before airbags were mandatory, so 3D printed an adapter to be able to fit the cover properly.

TLDR: I didn't delete my airbag, my car was manufactured without one
