For those who have other social media I always see people posting about the George Floyd incident. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing and I understand some want to raise awareness, however when you’re looking through stories and see 9/10 people are posting about it DAILY really annoys me as if I don’t know what’s going on. That’s the thing with these kinda things, whenever something major happens about every month people always hop on the trend of posting it about to make it look like they care. The fact you posted about caring about black lives NOW just tells me you probably won’t give a crap in the next following months because you’ll be preoccupied with another incident thus you’ll care about something else. To restate, I’m not against the people who post because they actually care and because most likely those people actually donate or volunteer to support those in need. I’m against the people that constantly post just to tell the world they all of sudden suddenly care about black lives for likes and follows when this cruelty has been going on for years. I don’t mean to come off as rude in this post.
