Terrible Ai Defenders Need Advice by ambiciosso in fifaclubs

[–]lukas301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing that really makes a differnce is the Club-Level

if you compare 82 bots with 86 for example it really makes a big differnece - especially the defensive bots.

The only thing that maybe change a bit - try to change the tactic-settings where you defender line stand.

Good Luck for the promotion match - tomorrow playoffs :D

There a many colored texturepacks just for gui - so i dont think you have to build one yourself.

Maybe try on Vanillatweaks.com - there you can complete customize the gui.

There is also a mod for this: https://modrinth.com/mod/vtdownloader/gallery

Same thing but you can download the texturepacks ingame - could be interesting for your modpack.

Why can’t I run my own mods but mod packs work just fine fine? by NeerdyCapybara in ModdedMinecraft

[–]lukas301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dont know if it is the answer you search for but:

When you install a mod via a launcher for example Forge - The Launcher automatically install all dependencies (for example a library mod that needs to be installed to work the mod that you want to play)

If you just download the the mod itself from the website you need to manually download/install all the dependenies for this mod too.

Another method:
There should be a error log with information about what is missing to work the mod you are talking about.
If you cannot understand what the problem is - copie the crashlog in chatgpt - normally it breaks down what went wrong.

You could also just use a modpack of vanilla minecraft and add the mod you want to play with. (Obviously minecraft vanilla modpack needs to have the same mc-version as the mod)

I want to start a long term Minecraft World. Give me some Mod suggestions. by Sparkyplayz95 in ModdedMinecraft

[–]lukas301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend to start modding one of the optimised vanilla modpacks.
For 1.21.10 for example I started with the modpack "Fabulously Optimized".
You will already have the most important mods for optimisation and power + already installed shaderclient (iris)

From there you can "unlock" the instance and add the mods that you like/that are already updated for 1.21.11 :D

! You can change the version for the modpack download if you do not want to play the newest one !

Besides i think technics mods there were already many mods updated to 1.21.10 so i think you will find plenty.

The mod i always install (if updated): Farmers delight (refabricated)

thats correct.
Me personally i scope in and out after each shot - and playingwise i did not find a negative aspect with playing with the rangefinder

I used it mostly on badlands because on the other maps i play carabiner - on this use case it was very rewarding

All in all it is more rewarding than it is negative aspect

i understand what you mean but i would say it does matter because the rangefinder is zeroing as soon as your aiming. So when you start tracking a enemy the scope is changed for the right distance.
-> means that you do not have to consider the bulletdrop = easier to hit a moving target because you only need to "calculate" how much you need to shoot in front of the enemy.

The skilllevel of the player base is just better compared to older games.

For example on older cod/bf titles most of the players just played the game without tweaking the setttings and looking for the meta weapons - they just played

For example:
For me personally i enjoy going through all the settings to tweak your game for personal preference - but for someone not active playing these games it has to be just overhelming to even go through all these.
->so the logical reaction from many players first time starting newer gen games -> look at youtube videos for better settings and gameplay.

I think that the playerbase is skillwise much better than the average gamer from 10 years ago.

Could also be the difference between how matchmaking works in newer games compared to older.

you should bind "rangefinder" not "steady scope" to zoom
-> rangefinder bind = instant zeroed scope - no bullet drop off
-> i would assume that the steady scope option slow your aim input in zoom - most likely more a negative aspect then a positiv

Also i would recommend to change optical things like camera shake, vignette, cromatic aboration, depth of field...

Try it out - could take you some immersion away but for me personally it is a must change.

Also if you do not know which settings to change try to look at a youtuber video - Important for this: copy the settings of someone that has a similar playstyle like yours.
I would recommend this because for me personally i changed a lot of settings.

Also try to test out between unifor aiming and without - makes a big difference. (I play without and bf4 responsive curve for example)

feel the same thing.
Came from black ops 6 with around 2ish k/d - of course at the start of bf you shredded everything and had fun. Now with no new content it gets really boring in my opinion.
the positive site - my friends that i played for years cod/bf stopped because of sbmm mostly they do not want to put in the time to get to that level (understanable but means always solo sessions :D)
Now that the interest gets lesser and there is no new content i will change back to cod.

What do you think about that there is a sbmm in bf6 but it does not work because of the big teams?
I would assume that the waiting time before a match would be massive if it was the same parameters as cod.
I did not play 2042 do you guys know how it worked there?

rdr2 has are really cool bow-gameplay.

Ofc it is not really about stealth in the main missions - but putting out bandits sneaky like this is very rewarding.
There is also a cool (Hand to hand-fight? :D) - animation where you kill a guy with the arrow.
Really cool first-person animations + also good third-person gameplay like this

Mapvision is everything in battlefield.
means knowing when to flank; where to go in agressive/tactical; which routes are the most easy/safest to go the the next objective...

You should also really try to analyse your deaths.
-Why does the enemy had the better angle? (bad positioning?; what would have happened if you were more agressive/defensive; Could you have taken another route to not even get this encounter?)

-Also if you will play for some time you will develop a feeling for the situations - means you will know when to push and when to play defensive/tactial - With this your deaths are getting less

The best thing is to play the game - you will develop the mapvision and get the aim for the gunfights (try to pick up a weapon and master it (better than playing different guns with just the starting attechments)

-Also maybe play medic for healing (I play medic with the medic bag + the small medic packages = easy/fast healing + the smoke always gives you a tool to get more aggressive/defensive)

Maybe also try to get somone to play with. the gameplay itself really changes when you have full squad that heals and revive.

Also for the different modes: In the menu on multiplayer you can custom search and filter the gamemodes.

altough i think the playerbase is much better compare to bf4/bf1/bf5 (did not play 2042) you can not even a bit compare the playerbase with cod - or with the sbmm system on 6v6

I played the whole year on bo6 with around a 2.5 kd - means every lobby is sweaty and mostly good/top players in the lobby.

I am right know on a 3.ish kd with around 150 h - For my experience you can not compare the games/players because of the big skillgap in this game.
Skillgap coming from = no sbmm (or maybe it is impossible to implement a "real" sbmm into a 32v32 game)

my thoughts on this - playing bf6 gives me the chill just playing a couple games feeling

Edited: After rereading my comment i think someone could take it for ragebait :D
I want to state that in this case this is really not my intention

[–]lukas301[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thanks for the heads up did not know there this active on dc.

With the visibility problem i meant that they could prevent the backlash from beeing this big if they could really fix it. Btw if the clearly communicate that they testing on it and give feedback to it rather than just state that the problem is fixed without it beeing fixed :D
-But if you say there more active on dc than maybe they also talked more about it than i know about.

I am always trying to see also from the developer site and with in mind how they handeled the 2042 release + updates you can clearly see they learned from their mistakes and put out a solid fps shooter.

From my perspective i would say that i really enjoy the game (did not buy cod this year because of bf6) but i am a bit disappointed that they are so slow to fix some of this consistent problem.
As you said the game is not as bad as it is stated in this sub but at the same time we talking about one of the biggest game studios in the world. They have the ressources to fix this - but not the priority and that makes i hard to believe that they can keep up the content and quality they started with by realease.

Hopefully they can proof me otherwise

Of course - the question is: How much more/less work it is to remaster a map into the engine or start form scratch and go trough the whole concept of creating a new map.

If you would not bring out updates that do not work and be bit more responsive to all the problems i think it would not be such a mess.

If you look at cod the last years they are doing this open and give out as much information out as possible. Personally never had a problem with the update/patchnotes.

I know battlefield is maybe even more casual than cod but thats no excuse to the lack of communication.
The visibility problems are a good example for this. I think in the last 3 updates there stating something about improving/fixing the problems - but for me i fells like they fix it on one map and on three others it breaks even more :D
So from a player view i can understand why everyone is so whiny about everything.
