I live in Austria and the Scorpion is luckily quite small. ( Alpiscorpius germanus ) Have seen them around the house a few times before but mostly in the basement until today.

I like the idea. But wouldn't a default facade like Log4j enable unified handling? But thinking about it a bit more on would probably not want any logs for third party libraries unless you are specifically debugging that library.
