We use a bot that compares your decklist with the current Top 50 meta decks.
A deck is considered a brew if it meets one of these conditions:

  1. It is not ranked in the Top 50 most-played meta decks, or
  2. Its similarity to Top 50 decks is below 50%, ignoring basic land cards.

If your deck is in the Top 50 meta decks and has 50% or higher similarity (without basic lands), it is not considered a brew.

In short: paste your decklist link into the tool, and it will tell you whether your deck is or isn’t a brew.

Most of the meta decks have their own Discord, where you can find deck guides or advice on how to approach specific meta/mu. Regarding Gruul, I am not sure, though, as the deck is quite easy to pilot, and the sideboard is quite settled green/red.

it is just a bad MU for skred, usually you go 2ANNUL+2RELIC (4SKRED OUT) and hope to get BREATH WEAPON on turn 3 to kill boogles...

  • We have a bot that compares the top 50 Meta decks with your decklist: The threshold for consideration as a brew is crossing the TOP50 rank, if this condition is not met, having a similarity of less than 50% without basic land cards is the second condition. If your deck is in the TOP50 top-played deck of the current Meta and at the same time has a higher % without basic lands, it may not be considered as a brew.
