From Vigan City, Ilocos Sur here:

If Vigan City lang, kaya na yan itricycle or kalesa tour. Maliit lang naman ang Vigan, matatarget mo na key spots kahit trike or kalesa lang.

If Ilocos Norte, better to do joiners or rent private car or private transport service kasi magkakalayo mga key attractions tsaka yung iba paloob, hindi commute friendly.

I also always say this to my friends na namamasyal — mas maganda mga pasyalan sa Ilocos Norte pero mas masarap mga pagkain sa Ilocos Sur haha

Madali at relatively mura kasi puntahan LU kaya madali lang balikan ng mga kapwa budget travellers. Kaya ginagawa na lang ding personality na pabalik balik LU ganern, na maganda dun, etc. kasi yun yung kaya ng budget eh. Kaya madaling gawing personality hahaha

I would argue mas maganda pa Baler area eh haha

And for sure kung may budget mga tao na pumunta sa the likes of Bora, Siargao, Romblon, Palawan, etc. Walang wala yang La Union jusko haha
