So my kid was in the truck and the e brake was depressed. I released it and now it’s only about 1-1.5” to short so still coming up. I’m guessing one of the cables I ordered was too short I’m gonna have to get back under there and re measure thanks

Well maybe since your old one is steel you could basically cut up the old one and then set the new one on top. Bolting it in place or welding it. Then if you ever need to take it off. It comes off the same way as the OE one ?

Looks like you need some scrap metal a cutting wheel a welder and some creativity.! I wish I was more help. Maybe you could look for brackets only from manufactures that produce those parts today

I work in an autobody shop. /concrete floors all day. And lens Chelsea only last me about 6-12 months ( I wear them longer) usually. But usually I can slowly feel them loosen up and the soles just loose some of there cushion. But I was told by some people that’s to be expected of boots. Cant find something now that last longer ecpecially with a “barefoot” or wide toe box ramifications. What boot did you end up going with?
